Good Morning, Ladies. I have been super busy and then I was out of the country on vacation so I've been doing horribly but I am back at it. Hope to see the scale go down this week.0

I had a really, really bad week last week health/personal wise, so I've fallen off the exercise wagon. I'm still trying to make my other two goals that I gave myself mid-week last week, which are "if I bite it, I write it" and "Water, water, water". I've got a sticky note on my computer monitor and everything!
So, goals for me for this week:
1. If I bite it, I write it. No exceptions. No excuses.
2. Ease back into working out.
3. Water, water, water
Great job ladies!!! Can't wait for the next 10 weeks!! One of these days I'll actually get somewhere on the scale!!0 -
Finally able to do cardio again this week!!! YAY!!! Was so excited to get on that treadmill..I sprinted for 40 seconds the rested for 10 seconds for 4 minutes at the beginning and end of my treadmill workout...it was tough but I did it!! Then I did the arc trainer and cooled down for 5 minutes on the bike...I felt so good yesterday afterwards...I won't be able to make it to the gym tonight, but can't wait till tomorrow to do it again!!! Let's hope this new routine will help me lose at least 2.5 pounds so I can make it to at least 149.5 :-) I will be happy with any kind of loss really. Hope everyone has a great day!!! :-)0

Good news I peaks on the scale today and I'm already down by a 0.5lbs I hope I keep this up till weigh in next Monday.
I made a new start this weekend, so for this week I will continue to watch my carb intake, eat more veggies, get some sort of carido in 6 days a week, do not quit the Shred.....I restarted yesterday and I really want to push through till the end this time.0 -
I'm going to make week 10 the best one yet! I go to Zumba certification Friday and I'm excited and nervous at the same time. I teach the zumba and pilates class tonight at my curves. I've never lead a Pilates class so I'm nervous about that too! I've been doing so many things lately that I've never thought I would do. I am definitely getting out of my comfort zone.
Goals for this week:
Try and take it easy in preparation of 8 hours of Zumba on Friday
Water, Water, Water
Weight once a day, not four, five or more times a day
Have a great week ladies!0 -
I know I didn't post a weight this week... so I'm not on the chart. But I'm going to leave my weight the same. it's up a little... but TOMs on his way0

Good job this week ladies!! I am kicking things into high gear starting TONIGHT!!! Heading to the gym to get in a full body weight routine followed by 30 mins of treadmill intervals (I AM RUNNING AGAIN!!!!! a little bit, anyway!). Gonna do the same thing on Thursday night and again on Saturday morning and I fully intend to hit the treadmill in the morning on Wednesday and Friday.
Hope you all have a GREAT week!!!0 -
I am kicking it up today. I had a severe migraine yesterday so no workout for me. Today I am doing Chest/Shoulders/Triceps, Ab RipperX, Plyometrics and maybe some walking (have a 5k on the 30th). My husband's birthday is tomorrow and I am making him a two layer Devil's Food Cake with Chocolate filling and Cream Cheese Icing.
My goals for today:
Drink Water.. I am cutting out soda again...
Take my vitamins
Go through stuff in order to get ready for move

It's so exciting to see that chart and realize I'm down 14 lbs from 10 weeks ago! So exciting!
I had a great NSV today in yoga - I made it into plow pose and shoulder stand for the first time! Holding extra pounds around my middle has got my center of gravity all off, but I just flowed right into both of them today. I was thrilled the whole time we were in those poses! Alright, enough nerding out about yoga!
Thanks, Rachel and the rest of this pin-ups for this group -- lets finish these 10 weeks strong!0 -

Well 2 days into the week and I have managed to resist the urge to not work out. Crazy calorie burn yesterday (811 in 45mins) and 40 mins of yoga/stretching today. I was actually quite pleased with my yoga tonight, I wasn't as tight as I thought I might be. I have started the Turbofire prep program and it has Wednesday as a rest day, but I am planning to do something different just to keep the momentum going. After taking the last month off, I plan on working out every day this week in some shape or form
Hope everyone is having a good week!0 -
OH man...you do not want to know what I ate yesterday or drank....but had so much fun at the casino's with the family...today is a new day...won't be able to get to the gym till late tonight...I hope I'm still motivated by 7ish to get there...I CAN DO IT!!
Have a great day everyone!! :-)0 -
Today is my 3rd day of upping my protein. I have to say, I definitely feel fuller than I had the previous 2 weeks. Other than that, the soreness I feel is kind of overriding any other changes I might notice, but I'm happy that I'm finally taking notice of the nutrition aspect of my food and beginning to work on it. Money is still tight, but having whole grain pasta for lunch is a hell of a lot better than a lean pocket!! The same way as eggs, beans, and chicken is better than a plate of taquitos for dinner.
Anyway, good news....I checked the scale this morning and was honestly expecting to see a 174ish number. With the soreness and such, my body just feel so 'heavy'. I was pleasantly surprised to see a 171 pop up!!! Already 1lb down from Monday!! I'm trying not to peak again until Monday, but it definitely made my day. :happy:0 -
Tomorrow is my birthday, so I baked a cake last night and brought it into work today.
All I have to say is . . .
OH
MY
GOD!!!!
Is that a damn fantastic cake!!
Nom, nom, nom!!!0 -

Way to go!! That is awesome!0 -
Woo hoo!! Congrats on a lot of NSVs this week and it is only Wednesday morning!! Way to go ladies, keep up the great work!
I'm struggling a little bit this week after the high of my personal NSV work out last week. The poke in my eye lead to a pinched nerve in my neck which lead to re-injured hip sprain, which is why I haven't been able to work out since kid was born in the first place. It sort of zapped the wind out of my sails and made me a little depressed.
But, I am trying to look at the glass from a different angle and see if it doesn't look half full after all. I am checking in here more regularly and holding myself accountable in my food journal. Like one of you other wonderful ladies said, if I bite it, write it.0 -

Looked so hot in my pencil skirt today.

Aaaack one more week... er, even less!
Well, I'm continuing on with P90x (Lean version, but still kickin' my *kitten*)
My focus for this week is to not live and die by the scale, because I'm trying to change my body in more significant ways.
I'm having a really hard time with protein - I always have found it difficult to get in my protein since I really don't do a lot of cooking. Anyone got any good tips on getting that protein in besides relying on shakes, bars etc.?
And for all you fans of the pinup, I thought I'd mention that if you're a facebook fan of pinupgirlclothing.com, they are having a 20% off sale. They have a wide range of sizes and all of their stuff is to die for.
Unfortunately the dress I want ... ---> (http://www.pinupgirlclothing.com/dixiefried-paris-dress-pink.html)
...is sold out in my size. But I thought you girls might like to know! Their stuff isn't cheap, so it's always good to save when you can.0 -

I'm struggling with it too, but I've done better the last 3 days.
Lots of baked chicken and fish. Best way to get lots of protein without a lot of fat/carbs. Eggs too. I'll normally do 1 whole egg and then 2 or 3 egg whites, scrambled. And beans. I've started getting Bush's reduced sodium black beans, and kidney beans too. :flowerforyou:0 -

Dang, I'm so sorry for not keeping up with this thread! I'm at 161.8 right now. I hope that I can still be a part of it!0

How we all doing this final week??
I'm 4 days into P90x and feeling sore but good. Went on a bit of a snacking spree today but managed to stay just under maintenance calories so we're going to call today a wash and move on.0 -
Great work ladies! I'm having lots of tests run right now and a heart monitor for 30 days (arrgh) due symptoms and arrhythmias and need to focus on diet more than anything. Wow, being 5'5 and almost 200 lbs. and now realizing that my health is on the line is giving me the kick I've needed for so long. Let's see what I can do...0
