Not losing weight (with running)?

I've been doing C25k and have seen absolutely no results. If anything I've gotten fatter?? I've been eating less and healthier but nothing has happened. I'm only on week 6 of C25k but have been running for the past five months. Very frustrated and just want to curl into a ball and cry. Have even been doing body weight exercises, blogilates videos, etc but they haven't been helping. The only thing on my body that has changed in the past five months is my bum. What am I doing so wrong?

are you weighing your food?
most likely, you are eating more than you think you are. you lose weight in the kitchen, and improve overall health and fitness through exercise.0 -

No, I don't weigh my food. I have a very obsessive personality and tend to let things quickly get out of hand.0 -
Are you counting calories? How many calories are you eating? How many are you burning? Is your logging accurate (are you creating your own recipes and weighing everything you eat)?
If you're not losing weight you are not eating a calorie deficit. Eat less calories than your body uses and you will lose weight. It's nearly impossible to exercise off a bad diet.0 -

I eat 4020 calories a week (eat the same thing everyday so this never truly changes) And when I run (30min) I burn usually 430cal

You eat less than 600 calories a day?!!0 -
4020 a week? That would be less than 1,000 per day.0
-
Well if you were truly eating that much you'd be losing weight. That's a far too aggressive calorie goal and if that's what you were eating you'd be losing weight rapidly. Except you're not losing weight so obviously you're eating far more than this. I suggest you tighten your logging and start weighing everything.
And eating the same this everyday is far from healthy. You need variety and nutrients to fuel those workouts.0 -

You eat less than 600 calories a day?!!
It truly depends on the day, and whether or not I eat dinner but 600 is the base for those same foods I always eat. For some reason I get full really fast and I can't eat a lot. Sometimes I try to force myself to eat more (usually if it's something REALLY good XD) but I feel really sick and immediately regret it0 -
You should be eating around 1600 calories per day. When you eat less you put your body into starvation mode which you body wants to store fats. You need to feed your body everyday!0

If you were really eating that little, you'd be losing weight. And if your goal is to eat that little, you need to educate yourself and knock it off. It's dangerous and you will harm your body.0 -

Absolute nonsense. You don't gain weight eating too few calories. Examples: holocaust victims, anorexics, starving children in Africa.0 -
You're eating more than you think. Sorry. I didn't "lose weight with running" either. It's very hard to create the deficit you need to lose with strictly exercise and inaccurate food logging.0
-
Running isn't really for weight loss, tracking calories is. CICO. Also if you truly couldnt eat more, why are you on a weight loss site trying to lose weight??0
-
Diary isn't open, so no one can comment on your caloric intake.
If you aren't losing weight, you are consuming too many calories.
You need to log, and log accurately, or have no idea where you stand other than the scale. Right now, the scale is tell you you need to either eat less or exercise more. It's usually easier to eat less, but that's up to you.0 -

I try to eat more (I'm not stupid I'm pretty sure everyone here has passed a middle school health class) I just feel sick to my stomach and nauseous whenever I try to eat a lot of food. My little yogurt and box of raisins is enough to hold me from 3pm to 5 the next morning I'm just never hungry. Not everyone has the same body and can shove 2k + calories down their throat in one day. And like I said, it really depends on if I eat some type of dinner or not because some days I'm more hungry than other days. *kitten*, at that time of the month I could eat non-stop. I'm not a health expert, if I were I'd be solving my own problems not coming here, I just need answers of why nothing is working for me, not getting belittled because my stomach can't hold as much as the next guy's.0 -
Me thinks you are eating more than you are admitting to yourself. Unless you are a very small person, you would be losing a lot of weight if all you're eating is 600 calories. Since you are also running, you need to be eating significantly more than that, or you could do yourself harm. Could it be that you are recording the calories for single servings when you are actually eating multiple servings?0

We're just saying you don't know how much you really eat. If you have very high days, and very low days, you could still not be in a deficit. Try tracking really well for two weeks. I know you said you don't want to weigh food but it does help. Perhaps if you are not losing after eyeballing for a couple weeks, you could give that a try.0 -
Go see a doctor, if you are really eating that little and not losing any weight, something is wrong that only a medical professional can deal with.....And down with the aggression and snarkyness, that is just childish.....0
-
If you are a smaller person too I doubt you are burning 430 cal in 30 mins of running. I'm 5'6" and 120 lbs and I need to run 5 miles to burn that many calories.0
-
Maybe you should talk to your doctor...... It could be something health wise causing your eating issues.0
-
Open your diary. The (by far) most likely explanation is errors in your logging of either food or exercise.
In fact, it's basically guaranteed to be that, given you aren't weighing your food. 4020 doesn't even divide evenly by 7, eh....and amounts to less than 600 calories/day. If you were truly eating that little, it would be impossible for you to run.
And since you're running, it means your eating numbers are completely broken.0 -

I write down in a notebook a lot of the stuff I eat and just look on the back of the food. I put my cereal in a measuring cup as well as my milk, just look on the back of the package for my turkey bacon, both my yogurts I just look on the back of the package, and I usually Google my Apple according to it's size.0 -
You don't have to eat a lot of volume. Just eat calorie dense things like butters, nuts, oils, etc.
But still, if you're not losing weight you are not in a calorie deficit.
Why don't you open your diary so we can try to help you pinpoint where you can improve your logging? I0 -

No. It's not confusing. Someone stated that eating too few calories made you gain weight. I said it's nonsense. Because it is. You don't gain weight eating in a deficit.0 -

That's true. It is impossible to eat too little to lose weight.
Literally, impossible.
OP's food tracking is completely broken and OP is eating a LOT more than OP thinks.

You would be very surprised to weigh your cereal, bacon and apple to find out how much you're actually eating.0 -
