    Make sure your goals are attainable AND maintainable. Lots of people don't do well cutting out an entire food group or constricting themselves too much. Make sure you pick a plan you can stick with forever.

    I've learned to look at the nutritional value for how it's feeding my body. I've also learned to do workouts that leave room to get harder. Workouts I won't be able to complete if I eat crappy all day.
