If you are eating sufficient calories and eating a well balanced diet, I would have thought your face would be looking much healthier.

Healthy glowing face....drink plenty of water, give up smoking if you smoke, do some brisk walks, give up caffeine, eat a well balance menu.

Sounds like maybe the diet isn't really balanced. What does the diet consist of? Hopefully you are getting enough hydration as well.

Water! I drink tons of water since I realized how amazing my skin looks because of it. Seriously, drink water!

Stop "dieting", then. Eat the foods you love, in reasonable portions, and stick to a deficit.

    1600 per day

Have you cut right back on fat? That can cause dry skin and a drawn look. Fat is essential for a variety of reasons, and assists with healthy skin and elasticity.

Eat foods rich in vitamin C: kiwi, dark leafy greens, bell peppers, broccoli etc.

Oh and omega 3 works wonders for the skin so lots of oily fish like mackerel and sardines, or failing that take fish liver oil tablets to give yourself a boost.

Also have a look at your skincare regime. For truly glowing skin you need to cleanse and moisturise every day. Look for moisturisers with hyaluronic acid in to help combat dry skin which cause a dull complexion. That combined with keeping hydrated will see huge benefits (I'm a beauty journo and test these things a lot, products containing hyaluronic acid are skin lifesavers)

Are you a tiny dwarf man? Because if not, that's too big of a cut.

    Yes!

This is where the CI portion of CICO can turn CICO into GIGO (garbage-in, garbage-out) if you are not careful about what you eat.

It's even more important during weight loss because the volume of food decreases to achieve the results - hence, you need to make sure that you are eating clean. Clean eating will promote all the necessary health benefits and allow you to achieve your weight loss goal at the same time - and it may spur you into eating that way for the rest of your life. Which is a complete win in my estimation.

To troubleshoot, take a look at what you are eating and check the nutritional profile - the micros - and make sure that any foods that don't achieve the proper nutrition are thrown out.

If I had a face like that and it was glowing I would wonder what's wrong.
