Welcome everyone to the 3500+ calories burned challenge. This is a weekly challenge to meet 3500+ calories burned, it is open to everyone. You set your own calorie goal for the week. Each day post the calories you burned, current total and how many you have to go. That's it, not too hard other then push push pushing yourself to hit your goal. Everyone is such and inspiration on this challenge. Keep up the good work for the people returning and welcome to the newbies.
Here is the daily update format.
Weekly Goal:
Mon: calories burned (how they were burned)
Tues: calories burned (how they were burned)
Wed: calories burned (how they were burned)
Thur:calories burned (how they were burned)
Fri: calories burned (how they were burned)
Sat:calories burned (how they were burned)
Sun:calories burned (how they were burned)

hahah nice try. The reason for Monday - Sunday is that is how MFP has a week. So if you look at your currently weekly total it goes for last week. Also the challenge it to push you to do more so if you already did the exercise then how is the challenge pushing you that little extra step?0 -

I am in. Have not done one of these before. I don't count the swimming I do for a living or the day to day running with the kids or the dog though. Just when I turn the world off and exercise.0

Great idea! Need the motivation to move my tush! Starting low for my week one of this challenge. 2000 cal burn. Question, what time do I post and where do I go to post, I haven't done one of these threads before.0

I am so in again! Last week my goal was 3000 and I will up it to the actually 3500 for this week. I felt so much better everyday for working out so hard. It pushes me to do the extra work! Good luck everyone!0
