    It's going to be difficult working out this week because I've been having some chest pain that increases when i breathe heavier/deeper. Went to the doctor, turns out a cartilage connecting my rib bone to my sternum is inflamed and I just have to wait it out until it goes away, which could be a week.

    Hi all,
    Not a bad week. I found out my TDEE and am trying to follow recommended calories and macros. It's says I should I aim for about 1750 calories a day which is a couple hundred more than I usually aim for so I'm trying it out. Then again, I usually go over my calories, so this way feels better already.

    Successes/struggles this week: I've still been staying up too late and doing some stress eating. On the plus side, i felt that while I had treats this week, I kept them sane and reasonable. I also did some minor food prep, but it really helped when I was in a time crunch a few days.

    Intentions for today: drink lots of water. Eat the food I already prepared. Reset intentions for weekend on Friday.

    Successes/struggles this week: I've been going from 152 to 153 and back again for weeks now. I think it's probably because of hormones, because I came of the pill for the first time in about four years. Not trying to get pregnant or anything (goodness, no! I've only been using it for period control anyway) just ran out of pills and can't get any more because of a mess up at my pharmacy. Sucks. Hopefully I can overcome this.

    Success: Posting here for the 2nd week in a row. Learning to enjoy the PROCESS and not stress about the PRODUCT (Reading "The Practicing Mind" by Thomas Sterner)

    Struggles: cooked a whole batch of chicken and veggies. Actually over cooked them. :( and ended up throwing it all away.

    Successes/struggles this week: Not really successes/struggles this week but I tried this at some point in the spring and had some success until my life sort of fell to pieces for a while and I gained everything I lost back... While studying for vet school finals abroad my parents called and told me we had to euthanize a horse I had owned for 10 years and retrained and basically poured my heart and sole into (poor horse had 13 owners in as many years and there was just as many emotional problems as there were physical). Needless to say stress of finals (I had a 71% average in one of my classes), and trying to come to grips with things at home and not being able to be there for my horse lead to some pretty serious stress eating. Hoping to get back on track and that this will help me remember to track what I'm eating again and go to the gym.

    Successes/struggles this week: I’m surprised I lost over 2 lbs..I didn’t work out much at all but I was eating healthier. Most of what I’ve lost so far is probably just water weight. I’ve been lacking motivation to workout but I’m really trying to get my butt into gear this week!

    Successes/struggles this week: As far as success goes I've successfully kept up with my water intake, counting calories effeciently, as well as working out. I struggled one day this week when I went to an amusement park. Throughout the week i went down to 257 for a few days so I'm a bit disappointed to log today at 259! That will not stop me and I'll continue on hard and strong!

    Successes/struggles this week: I was way up last week because sodium and weighing in at the end of the day rather than the beginning, like I usually do, so the drop isn't as dramatic as it seems. I'm still up from 2 weeks ago, but TOM isn't helping. If I can stay on track this week, next week should look better.

    Hey, Bridget. My heart goes out to you with all the stress and emotional strain. I grew up with QHs and currently have an 18 yo mare. Take good care of yourself!
