I do have a question. Do you feel that these worst dates ever were with someone who you thought was:
A) out of your league
B ) the most attractive person you ever dated
C) person of average look
D) Personality, you thought was good enough over the look.
E) more unattractive in real life than online photos

@yopeeps025 Why don't you answer your own question? I know you do that whole online dating. What has been your experience?

I think what your sort of after here is exploring a possible correlation between ones looks and potential for a bad date?

Seeing as how I'm towards the bottom of the looks spectrum, most of my dates technically qualify A) out of my league, regardless of what the world in general thinks of them, so I'm probably a bit skewed lol

Yes I have notice a trend of bad dates and what the person has told me about their looks.

Looks never had anything to do with it. Chemistry, personality and sex equally suck or don't suck regardless of physical appearance. It's either there or not.

Looks had nothing to do with it, I always went into the date with an open mind that even if we werent compatible sexually we could still be friends and hang out. I met a few that I have become friends with. But if the date was bad I had to ask myself why, was it something he did intentionally or just a freak accident

So I had my worst "Online dating" experience yesterday it was hilarious....The 5'9 stud showed up at a surprising 5'4 weighing approx 70lbs soaking wet (meaning I would break this guy if ever). Then 10 minutes into the date he asked me if I had ever been to the Porn Star awards in Las Vegas..I said no, I dont really know any porn stars well enough to care. He proceeds to pull out his phone and show me pictures of each of his favorite porn stars and tell me their names! From there it gets worse. He goes on his little explanation on why each one is so great for 20 minutes before he decides to tell me how his favorite film is a porn slasher or leather face slicing and dicing and then getting jiggy with the bodies :0. Mind you this entire time I have still yet to comment at all because I was so dumbfounded I didnt know what to say, I kept waiting for the "Im kidding" to come out. After the gazzilionth time of trying to change the topic and failing, I stood up and grabbed my keys signaling that I am taking off. But not quick enough before he had the chance to say "Hey if your interested the back seat of my Jeep folds down..." WOW ha-ha that's a new one. CHECK!

Personalities are nothing like they are via e-mail or over the phone. Usually discover this after the 2nd date which is why the only thing I search for online these days would be exercise equipment or electronic gadgets.

My worst date ever was with a guy who kept telling me he had an animal attraction to me whilst trying to put his hands all over me in a movie theater. I left the movie.

Sorry you had to go through that though. At least it's a funny story though and you can chalk it up to experience. Out of curiosity, who was his favourite Porn Star or had you zoned out by then? :)

I can't say I've had any tremendously awful dates. I did end one date after 15 minutes because he'd completely misrepresented his age and appearance online, and for being so much older than I initially thought he was, was extremely immature.

He didn't even flinch when I said I was gonna go ahead and leave. I think he knew how sh**ty he is.

I don't have any really really great date stories. Mostly because there isn't a lot to offer around here. I live in a rural area and the majority of people with profiles online are much older than me. The ones who are in their 20s/30s usually say hello with a message that looks a lot like "sex?".

And I'd just like to add that I don't understand why anyone would see online dating as pathetic. Especially when they are a member of a community like this one. We use sites like this one to make connections to people who have a common interest with us. How is being part of an online singes community looking for people to date any different?

Online dating has actually made me a few friends. Although there was no romantic click with them, we still got along afterward.

I still f***ed some of them just to be sure, though.

You gotta be sure there's really nothing there, you know?

I wasn't kidding though, I'm friends with pretty much all the good dates I had that didn't end up being romantic-feely.
