Why would it all be over? It's one day out of the rest of your life.

Log it and move on, use today as a lesson learned.

You can't change what's in the past - it's done...so just move on. Pick up where you left off and keep on keeping on. We ALL have our days of cheats. You're only human. So don't beat yourself up - just pick yourself off, dust yourself off and start all over all again (well actually don't start all over - just pick up from where you left off  )

Trey don't know if there is anyway to delete this post. I am sure other people will find it helpful, cause this happens to all of us!

Yep, the world is ending and you'll be 600 lbs when you wake up tomorrow.

Come on, 2500 calories? Weak. I had two 5,000 calorie days in a row a couple of months ago. I ended up gaining a pound, as I expected I would. So I ate double what you ate, twice, and only gained a pound.

Of course it's not "all over." There's no need to make a drama out of it. You went 600 calories over. I doubt you'll gain anything that will show up on a scale aside from some potential water retention that will go in a day or two.

    Just move on.

Yep. It's all over. You're never gonna lose another pound as long as you live, right?

Yes. Yes it is all over. Especially if you continue to be so dramatic about it! It is fine - log it, move on to tomorrow! :D Always learn from your mistakes.
