In what kind of situation? I like to have lettuce wrapped burgers because they are way more tasty. Like a salad in my hands (and much lower calorie). Bread is pretty much an edible plate (delicious, delicious plates)...0

Depends on why you want to replace it. If you are doing low carb, there are low carb breads. If it's just a calorie thing Sara Lee and Aldi have a really good 45 calorie whole wheat bread. For sandwiches you can do a lettuce roll. Use a hearty leaf lettuce and layer your meats and cheeses then roll it up. There are also low carb or low calorie tortillas/wraps.0

Thanks I'll give it a go0

Vegetables. As in eat a salad with protein mixed in instead of a sandwich.0

the sara lee bread is nice. I like the 80 calorie "delightful" buns, and their "45 calories delightful" wheat bread. I also use corn tortillas, and make my sandwiches into salads. (sandwich stuff all chopped up into a salad)0

I like Sara Lee 100% Whole Wheat bread - 60 calories a slice and it still has enough "body" to hold chunky sandwich fillings. I tried the 45 calorie ones....a little too wimpy.
Flat Outs are nice for wraps.....been meaning to try their pizza crusts0 -
Seals and Crofts is a reasonable substitute for Bread ...0

protein bars, carbo gain shake, fruit would be best in my opinion0

I love using butter lettuce for burgers, it wraps better than any other one I have tried. I have also switched to corn tortillas. The ones I find are typically half the calories of flour.0

I know you can't do much with raw cashews but the other morning, on a crazy whim, I threw a handful of cashews upon my usual 2 eggs over easy instead of toast. It was so delicious-I highly recommend it! And it kept me going till lunch at one.
I did also have some cantelope and blueberries.
ETA-I never knew nuts and eggs go together so well:-)0
