Eat at a caloric deficit and you'll lose. This is a process, it's not "fast".0

This. You didn't put it on quickly and you can't lose it quickly.0 -
I would say none of it is 'easy' but it can be simple. A quicker way to lose weight, without losing muscle, is to go low carb and even faster, to go so low carb you enter ketosis (eat less than 50g carbs per day) Not recommended if someone has diabetes or any other health problems. Search online for more info advice and warnings. I am 10 days in and 8 pounds down, which is longer than I have made it before. The keys for me are lots of nonstarchy veggies, protein for every meal and snack, keeping it simple, and always packing food and taking water.0

Keep plugging at it and make sure you aren't actually eating more calories than you think and that you aren't thinking you burn more calories exercising than you really are. Keep those two things in check and the weight will fall off. BUT not at exactly .75 lbs. a week! Maybe two weeks nothing, then bam! a couple or three pounds in two days. And don't give up.0

Low carb isn't necessary for weight loss, a calorie deficit is. The majority of the eight pounds you've lost is water weight due to the depletion of glycogen stores from eating low carb. And you'll lose muscle no matter what.0 -
Fastest way is
1. fill in your stats here on the site.
2. weigh all your food on a food scale and log it here everyday and stick around your daily calorie allowance.
3. keep doing this and start now
And that is the fastest way to lose.....

Eat less calories than you burn and you will lose weight. That's it. There is not easy way or quick fix.0 -

Great advise! I started a little over a week ago and have gone from 173 to 162 and I feel great!

No, low carb is not a magic diet that will make you lose weight fast. Carbs hold water, stop eating the carbs and you lose water weight. Eat carbs again and you gain the water weight back. That has nothing to do with actual fat loss.
You will not lose weight on a low carb diet, or any diet, unless you eat at a calorie deficit.0 -

I only know how to gain weight using the terms fast and easy. Eat lots of fast food and easy on the exercise. When I want to move the scale in the opposite direction I use opposing terms. Eat smaller amounts high nutrient dense foods and increase the exercise.0

Faster isn't always best or safest, but the fastest way to lose weight is to eat between 1500 and 2000 calories per day, and spend many hours a day doing physically demanding activities. Better to aim for 1 to 2 lbs of weight loss per week.0

Doesn't get any more honest and accurate than this!0 -

Fast sets you up for failure and yo-yo weight loss and gain. The only wsy to keep it off is to fundamentally change your lifestyle permanently. And that takes time to adjust to. It's not"dieting" because that implies a temporary change. And then if you stop the diet-and you will because you feel deprived-you gain back.0

Eat less, move more.. drink water. Sound simple, but really Lol ✌0

Long term weight loss success is spelled long term. There are people who are capable of taking off weight fast, but then the next time you see them, they have exploded in pounds with about 20 extra. It's silly to even think of weight loss as a speed process. It just says you haven't changed your life style at all.
Most people who want quick weight loss, are getting married, going to a high school reunion, something special, and so they do something that is very temporary. Once the party is over, they're back to their old habits of eating too much and not exercising enough.
Those who want weight loss to last the rest of their lives do the marathon, and stick with it. This leads to a much happier, healthier person.0 -

Wake up, black coffee!!!! Half of pint of water then jog. The meaning of this is because caffeine increases metabolism and water is for hydration. Try it for a week.0
