What the heck? It was unbelievably hot/humid when I walked out the door at 4:30! While talking to myself during the run, I kept telling myself "be grateful for the winters" ... so that I would stop focusing on the heat/humidity. I'm moving slower than a one armed paper hanger with this humidity but I'm still running.
LOL!!!! Glad you were feeling better this morning
@juliet3455 I don't know much about triathlons but that sounds like a great practice. I had to laugh at the legs still going in circles.
Rest day for me today.

Forced rest day. I had intended on running 7 after sailing again tonight, but my wife told me we were invited for drinks & apps after sailing by a friend who lives near the lake and she's not letting me get out of it. I'll have to figure out how to make up those miles this weekend.0

I missed my AM run this morning... well missed isn't quiet right. BF took OT this week- and I had to be at work early- so I opted to run tonight on the treadmill to try to get some hill work in- only a 3 mile run- so I should be able to drag myself out of here early to get out- run and lift then get to the studio to dance.0

I am having an awful flare up of some autoimmune inflammation problems I have so I pretty much had to fight my body to keep going the whole time but I got my 2 miles in. I'm trying to remember that keeping my routine helps me feel better than I would just sitting around so I need to keep going. It's probably silly that I am excited to go for 3 miles on Saturday. I have been working with 2 miles for long enough. I am pretty sure my leg is stress fracture free. I haven't had any kind of ache at all for a bit now. Yay!

Just popping in to report that I may not have simply ran myself out of gas the other day on my run, I have been feeling ill since, and particularly unwell today. Feverish even. So I may be down for a spell until I am back to normal.
Keep on going everyone!0 -

@WhatMeRunning boo! Sorry to hear this, hope you are feeling your old self soon.Forced rest day. I had intended on running 7 after sailing again tonight, but my wife told me we...
@7lenny7 I'm marking these as a "Life Day" in my log now to distinguish them from actual Rest Days. I won't admit to @skippygirlsmom as to whether this is code for "my wife forced me" (just kidding | sort of | maybe | I'll never tell). Nope, it's just life and sometimes it's me!
Today's run felt... like crap, almost from the start. According to the Urine Analysis By Beer Chart I have become quite dehydrated over the last day or so and am working on fixing that now not to mention avoiding a recurrence. I discovered this near the half way point of the run thus had a chance to dwell on it for the balance. Not fun! Whine! Took a day off yesterday because my left knee was feeling wonky and I don't like taking chances with that. I may need that thing someday. Ran 5 miles tonight and so far it feels OK.

Amazing running day! Between the 8:17 pace 7 miler this morning and doing 3 miles in 8:01 pace this evening (then I actually took it easy for my last 3-and-change of the day), I am feeling great! Plus, I get to sleep in tomorrow and take a rest day before the weekend. Woo!
