Hi everyone im looking for a fitness buddy if anyone is interested!

    Name: Vanessa
    Age: 27
    Height: 5'7

    Start Weight (1st August): 198
    Goal Weight (1st September): 180

    1st August: 198
    8th August: 194
    15th August: 188
    22nd August:
    29th August:
    1st September:

Weight lost/gained this week: 6 lost
Weight lost/gained this month: 10 lost

    Successes/struggles this week:
Struggles: My husbands birthday was last Saturday so I've been drinking alcohol, eating cake and good food. I had to stop lying to my self and put my real weight on top there. I'm also going with 5'7 instead of 5'6 since percent they tell me that at the doctor every time I go.
I also haven't really exercised more than once a week the last two weeks. I haven't been doing the best job of sticking with the 1200 calorie diet.

Success: I did notice however that ive really been training myself to have smaller portions and I'm very very happy about that.

    26 August:
    1st September:

    Weight lost/gained this week: -3lbs
    Weight lost/gained this month: -3lbs

Successes/struggles this week: I've been sticking to my calorie allowance pretty well throughout the week and lost 3lbs. Also, I inherited a whole snickers cheesecake from the Cheesecake Factory. When it became evident that I couldn't control myself around it (kept eating a slice here and a slice there), I sliced it up and took it work, where it was gone in hours. As for struggles, there was a potluck and my friend's birthday over the weekend, so I ended up pigging out on a few occasions. I also had a binge last night. Today is starting off strong, though.

I didn't post last week because I was tired from my trip. I still took my measurements, though.

    Name: Minato
    Age: 27
    Height: 159 cm

Start Weight (1st August): 80.5 kg
Goal Weight (1st September): 79 kg

    1st August: 80.5 kg
    6th August: 79.6 kg
    16th August: 80.5 kg
    22nd August: 78.6 kg
    29th August:
    1st September:

Weight lost/gained this week: 1.9 kg
Weight lost/gained this month: 1.9 kg

Successes/struggles this week: As I mentioned, I was going on vacation for a week and while I'd watch my portions and try not to overeat, it's hard to eat well on a trip. So I did gain some weight, as you can see. However, I continued to exercise while I was on the trip, so I think that helped me to lose the weight back, quickly. As you can see, I've lost all the weight I gained from the trip and even weigh less than right before I left. I set my goal at -1.5 kg to account for the trip, but now I've lost more than that, and we've still got a week of August left. So I think I did pretty well :)

As for my struggles, jet lag hit me pretty hard when I came back. I didn't expect I would get right into exercising the day I got back. Actually, originally, I thought I'd be getting home past midnight, on top of traveling all day, so no. I was iffy about the day afterward to, and I thought that I wouldn't push myself if I wasn't up to it. However, I didn't expect that I would be so tired as I was this past week. I'm getting better little by little, but I'm feeling exhausted by 9, so it's hard to get back into exercising. I don't wanna push my body beyond its limits. I think I wanna try to get back into it today, though. Saturday is yoga day for me, so maybe what I need is to start with something of a lower intensity to get the ball rolling.

Overall, though, I'm happy with how I've been doing. I was worried that I wouldn't be motivated after my trip. A big part of my initial motivation was that I didn't have any pants to wear for my trip, and I didn't want my family to see how much weight I'd gained since I last saw them. I was worried that I wouldn't be motivated to get back into it and would just fall off the bandwagon after my trip. However, I got back to it, and I think I'll be okay from now on. I think seeing that I hadn't gained as much as I thought I would have really helped. I think I just gotta keep setting new goals for myself. Anyway, again, overall, pretty happy with my results this week. Hopefully I get back into exercising soon.

    29th August:
    1st September:

Weight lost/gained this week: +0.75 lb
Weight lost/gained this month: -2 lbs

Successes/struggles this week: Put on 0.75 lb but I'm not stressing about it because I deserve it - I haven't been tracking properly this week. Hopefully having a gain will spur me on to do better this week. It'd be great to get a couple more pounds off and I know I can do it if I put my mind to it.

On the positive side, I've decided to set myself a new challenge - just a simple one - going out for a walk every day. I'm a stay-at-home mum and most the time I'll take the car to go out so I don't end up doing much walking. This week I've taken my youngest out in the buggy twice for a 40-minute walk around the block and yesterday when I had both kids (9 months and 4.5 years) we walked down to the canal to feed the ducks (a 30-minute round trip, but steepily uphill on the way back). It's not much but it's an improvement on what I was doing. I've also ordered myself a fitbit so I can use the pedometer to see how many steps I'm really taking and challenge myself to do more.

Successes/struggles this week: Bit of a frustrating week as I know I've done way more than the numbers suggest....sat at 61.9kg for about four days then shot up by 0.7kg over the course of two days! I know it has to be water as there's no way it's actual weight as clothes as looser but still frustrating - not getting hung up on it and not dropping calories, just going to ride it out. :|

    Week1:Nothing special

Week2: Not good week i was having cravings and gave in to them and did not log them either as you can see at the weigh in. But i am hopeful i now i was a bad boy and will do better next week.

Week3: I change my Calorie in from 1800 to 2100 because i lowered my loss per week to 0.5 kg. And wow did this have an effect i lost 2.8 kg , I also was hard and did my 10000 step with my fitbit.

Successes: I actually went down a pound last Monday. I have upped my strength and flexibility training and am noticing quite a difference in my shape. I generally don't eat my exercise cals back.
Struggles: Away for 2 days at a family wedding. However, I was on my feet a lot and danced most of the night at the evening party, so little damage done by a little over-indulgence.

Successes/struggles this week: Mostly a good week. Completed C25K week 1. Had a big splurge day when I went out with a friend for dinner one night, but it was worth it and I had enough deficit on other days of the week to counter. I'm trying to limit grains, especially wheat, due to possible thyroid issues and that's a struggle.

Loss for the week: 3.2 lbs ( 1.42 kg )
Loss for the month so far: 4 lbs ( 1.81 kg )

Struggles or successes of your week:
Struggles : August 15, 16 and 17th, major stress and stress eating, the car died and had to get another one so I could get to work on Monday. Three days of major over eating no water. It started on Friday so I did not post on the 15th, was not in a good place.

Successes: Got myself under control, buckled down drank more water and kicked it out of the park. Now just below my goal weight ( yaaaa made it!!!!!!!!! ) now what I think will be harder, at least for the next few months, is learning how to maintain.

successes/struggles this week: it looks like I will not have reached my goal this month either: there's just one week leftand I still have 2+ lbs to lose. On the other hand, i'm short and sedentary, so even on 1200 cal I'd only lose 1.5 lbs/week, according to MFP. I say, I'm doing a pretty good job. My weight is going down consistently, and I'm not struggling to stay in deficit on most days. It feels good to have finally found a sustainable sweet spot and I'm sure I'll see 150's very, very soon. It makes me beyond excied to think about my upcoming birthday and winter holidays. By then, I'll be much healthier, fitter, and lighter. I already look better on photos. People started noticing changes. I can't wait to blow my friends' minds when they see me after a summer break.

Struggles this week: I know that I can crash and burn any minute. I'm constantly working on the head.

Successes/struggles this week: This is definitely a disappointment seeing how my Wed/Thurs weigh-ins were both 291.5 and I did some extra Zumba and walking throughout the week. Oh well, 1 "bad" weigh-in isn't going to deter me. They say it takes 21 days to establish and maintain new habits. I made it to day 21 with Zumba and decreasing my soda intake so I'm calling it a win!

    1st September:

Weight lost/gained this week: -0.6 lbs
Weight lost/gained this month: -6.4 lbs

Successes this week: Despite no real loss on the scale this week from last, I'm happy. I've been eating well, exercising every day, and been able to maintain a couple larger losses this month. I'm back in my maintenance zone (between 125-130lbs), which was my goal, and I've got another week to get a little lower so I don't wobble out of it after a big meal or overdoing it on salt.

Challenges this week: None really, managed to rock through a picnic with friends, going out with the girls, and eating out at lunch without falling off the healthy bandwagon.

Hope you all have a wonderful weekend, don't give up and keep pressing play! For those of you that have posted, well done, it is so inspiring to read about your successes and challenges and to see the progress you've made towards your goals.

Anyone who wants a friend who's been on here for a while (since 2012), lost 30+ pounds, and been able to maintain it (give or take a wobble or two) for over two years, please feel free to add me. I always love having new friends to share this journey with :)

I've changed nothing. I'm so confused, but at least I'm still here, back to where I was at the beginning of the month. Maybe I can squeeze out a tiny loss by the end?

On the positive side, I updated my measurements, and I have lost a total of 6 inches in the past 55 days, 3 of them coming from my waist alone. Yippee!

Successes/struggles this week: I'm really pleased with how this week has gone, I've tracked every day and been just under goal calories but that's eating my exercise calories so I felt like I might be eating too much but apparently not. Although, I'm very aware that some of my choices haven't been great so I think I need to focus on that a little more this week!

Feel like I've finally kicked the Jet Lag, and adjusted to the altitude!

Thursday, I faced my bugaboo: The Indian Buffet! (It's totally my Kryptonite.) Knowing it was coming, I got up, charged the Fitbit, took eldest to school a little early, and got my 10,000 steps in before 8:20! Then, I looked up what I was likely to face on the buffet. I planned my attack, and drank a bottle of water on the way. I even asked how some of the things were prepared - and he offered to bring me some of the chicken off the grill, before it was slathered in sauce. Hard to believe, but I even left food on my plate... Hurray!

Oh! and yesterday, I wore out the dog.

Successes/struggles: Last Saturday after a fabulous 2 lbs loss of that week, I gained it all back because of a night out on town. Took me until Thursday, 5 days, to lose the 2 lbs. Then came yesterday. I couldn't leave my office because of work emergency so I ate a crappy Cup Noodle of some sort that had 1430 mg sodium. I knew when I ate it that the weight will stick or even go up. So here it is, gained 1 lb in one day. Onto the next week with better results!

    Successes/struggles this week:
Week 1: Very pleased this week. Blew through my original goal of 217 lbs and adjusted downward to 210 lbs. Long walks, 7-8 miles a day, coupled with a calorie deficit each day did the trick. I don't expect this every week though. Plan to celebrate with a glass of wine tonight!

Week 2: Not as good as last week but moving in the right direction. Out of town company for a couple of days had an impact for sure. Still walking every day so that helps. Another glass of wine tonight!

Week 3: Pleased with myself again this week with a 4+ lbs weight loss. A pound of that was a blood donation today. Feel like that is kinda cheating but I will take it anyway. I will probably get it back by next weeks weigh in. Continuing to eat at a calorie deficit and walk daily for exercise. Definitely a glass of wine tonight!
