It's trance on cardio days and rap/rock when lifting weights.

I'm a huge dork when it comes to my workout playlist. Here are the workout playlist rules I've devised.
    1. Calculate the beats per minute of the music, and sort all songs from low BPM to high BPM. That way every song is faster than the last one. It helps a LOT to keep you going.
    2. Anything is allowed, as long as it keeps you pumped up. Mixing up different music genres is a lot of fun. I have a playlist that goes from Underworld to Tribe Called Quest to David Bowie and I love it.
    3. I edit out all the intros of songs that start too slow.
    4. Don't be afraid to include things on your playlist that you normally don't listen to.
    5. Never...NEVER judge someone for the music on their playlist. The music on someone's workout playlist doesn't necessarily reflect their taste.

that sounds like a lot of work but hey, if it works for you and gets you pump- go for it! lol
I just hit play on Iheartradio and it's to slow, I'll skip that song.

Anything. Rap (new & old school), Rock, R&B, some oldies... I have several gym specific playlists, so it just depends on my mood. I generally end offor with something upbeat.

I mostly like to listen to Trivium , Metallica, or slayer while I workout. Slayer is a must, especially if you're gonna lift some heavy weights.
