I've Reached My Goal Weight!!!...

And I'm finally happy to admit that I have. I've had my ticker on 140 since I started on MFP, and being "stuck" at 150 the last 6 months was more of my body telling me that I'm at my goal weight! I'm healthy, I'm happy, I'm in the best shape of my life, and my body has been telling me that for months. So. I'm trying to take the focus away from trying to get down to 140 when my body is saying that it likes 150. And it's not for lack of trying to get it to 140, I've done everything under the sun...
Except finally accepting that 150 might really be my goal. So, I'm making it official. No more letting the scale dictate my success. I've lost 65 lbs, I've kept it off for the last 6 months, and I'm happy to have gotten to this point.
Anything past 150 is bonus pounds at this point. I'm still gonna kick butt and keep healthy goals in mind, but the number on the scale isn't one of them (aside from not having it go up of course!).
Here's my most recent blog that explains this whole revelation in detail: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/blog/00trayn/view/original-vs-realistic-goal-weights-110083

I just read your blog post and it's inspiring. A lot of people hit the plateau and just give up not realizing that is the weight they are supposed to be. Everyone is built different and if you are happy and healthy at 150 then stick to it! You are doing an awesome job and it's great to finally realize you are happy where you are at.0

So it really DID take a rocket scientist to figure this out, eh?
A Hearty Congratulations to you -- for reaching your goal weight and also for your revelation about knowing that this IS your goal weight. :flowerforyou:
150 is where I'd love to land.0
