Most disgusting food I ever had. No flavor, not spicy and bland ingredients.

The amazing thing about free will is you don't have to eat it! Wow choices! ;)

I've been craving honey walnut shrimp lol but I can't justify going there when I have a bunch of good things at home, I might go ahead and go this weekend, this thread is just making me want it more though haha :D

This is where the majority of my weight gain originated. Too many late nights and thousands of unnecessary calories. It's been one I've had to give up. Maybe one day I'll try going back, but it's just too soon.

    Enjoy, OP :)

I love Panda Express for the broccoli beef and the teriyaki chicken. Steamed rice and 2x broccoli beef makes for a very filling dinner without breaking the caloric bank.

Hahaha, they didn't have the teriyaki chicken so I got blackened pepper chicken, and it wasn't as good as I'd hoped haha. Next time I'll get a large order of the chow mein (which I love) and just throw in some broccoli and grilled chicken thigh which I always have on hand anyway, that way I can cut out extra sodium and maybe some calories..I love the noodles tho!!

Having Panda Express for dinner tonight! Broccoli beef, a bit of fried rice and a couple of the veggie spring rolls clocks in around 500-600 calories.

Yeah I try to stay less than 1500..but some days I can have extra and just drink a ton of water =)

    Riiiight.

This kind of thinking might have something to do with how you became overweight in the first place.

I am pretty sure sodium didn't make him fat.

No, but being able to eat 1400 calories in a single meal probably did.

Eating that much at one time and not eating anything for the rest of the day sounds a bit like disordered eating. It's certainly a binge.

Panda Express is not even GOOD Chinese. It's pretty flavorless.

Lots of people practice intermittent fasting. Not saying that how the OP is choosing to eat is recommended for everyone, is actually IF, or is healthy. But, IF is not disordered.

Well aren't you quite the judgemental person, Lol. Well you're entitled to that opinion, but it is incorrect.

I can't justify eating panda. I miss it terribly. Sweet fire chicken was my go-to choice. The calories/fat/sodium are just not worth it. I could understand having maybe a bowl occasionally but 1500 in one sitting would be a set back.

My average tde amongst several calculators is like 2800, so for me it's not a big deal. I get tho if your tde is really small =(

just because you can eat 2800 calories, it doesn't mean you need to.

Because i think you mean something else like a deficit.

When i get it...i make it fit. Even when i was on 1200 calories a day, i just ate a day at maintenance level

Well what I mean is, regardless of if you're trying for a deficit or are maintaining, if you have a high tdee you can eat more. Really tho im no nutrition or diet pro so i could totally be wrong, but I think this is entering needless semantics territory haha.

make that chicken at home and save a ton of money. just buy the rice if you want. or even find some in the frozen food section at the grocery store.

You can say that about everything you get outside of the house. I don't buy pizza any more because I make it at home from scratch and think it tastes better. However, I like to eat out on occasion.

I don't understand the hoop la. I mean, I just got back from Chinatown so I guess I'd rather get a meal there. I think we had a panda express in our college food court.

The teriyaki chicken has become one of my go-tos for fast food/work lunches. You can find a lot of articles, if you google it, about the quality of their food and trained cooks. The cooks even have Q&As about how they prepare the food and how it is shipped to the store. Yup, I can definitely fit it in! Although it has nothing on authentic Chinese food we have in my city.
