September 2015 Multisport Challenge. Anyone can join in. New & Old. However, you must complete more than one sport.

Anybody want to join me for a multisport challenge? Set a goal and mark it every day here.

You can do any COMBINATION of swim, cycle, run, walk, treadmill, yoga or whatever it is that you do! Just be consistent. Your goals are your goals.

You can set your goal now but wait until Tuesday August 1st to start logging!

    As before, my goal is to do what my coach gives me to do to the best of my ability. :)

    September races/events:
    9/12 - Old Forge Half Marathon (trail) - goal: sub-2:20
    9/19 - Eagle Ride 100 miler - goal: finish (it's just a ride, not a race, so no time goal)

    I am new here so not really sure what to throw out there as far as goals, I do have two race scheduled.

    9/13- Cajun Man Tri- sprint
    10/25- Big Cajun Olympic Triathlon.

    I love to train so I am always going over what I need for any race I do . New to the Tri game so any advise would be helpful.

    Oops... took a bit to find this. Cleared to resume exercise on Tuesday, so happy to get my miles in. Upping my running mileage a bit this month to 150, but otherwise sticking with my August goal (500 miles biking, 150 miles running, 10 miles swimming, 9 lifting sessions).

    9/1 - 5 miles running, 20 miles biking
    9/2 - 6 miles running, 44 miles biking
    9/3 - 5.5 miles running, 45 min lifting (so far)

    Total: 16.5 miles running, 64 miles biking, 1 lifting session
    Goal: 150 miles running, 500 miles biking, 10 miles swimming, 9 lifting sessions
    Remaining: 133.5 miles running, 136 miles biking, 10 miles swimming, 8 lifting sessions

    I threw my ciggy's away at 10pm yesterday. Ive done some intermittent bagwork this afternoon to help me through. In all honesty, I feel like crap. My head hurts. My FACE hurts. How well would a ciggy go down right now?? It would be BLISS!!!!

    9/2 - Rest Day
    9/3 - 9.37 mi run in 1:40:37 (hazy, hot and humid - legs felt like absolutely led after about 4.5 miles...still feeling the effects of it today)
    9/4 - 24.04 mi bike in 1:29:12 - group ride (ish)...I was way slower than the group for most of the ride, but a fun morning (don't usually get to go on the Friday morning shop rides because of work, but I took the day off for a 4 day weekend). 30 minutes of yoga after, yay! :)
    9/5 - 55.18 mi bike in 3:49:24 (headwind and toast legs made for a SLOW first 25 miles - stopped for couple of minutes to text my coach and let him know how I badly I was sucking and to see if he still wanted me to do my 30 minute run after my ride, since what was supposed to take me a little over 3 hours was going to take me closer to 3.5 hours - he said no run, yay.....and got a flat on the ride back home, lost another 15 minutes to that (any my snack). Then went to my mom's to move a bunch of stuff from her basement to my grandma's basement, so also did about 10000 stairs.
    9/6 - rest day, thank goodness. :tongue:
