    Mentor or two required here!

Got an absolute shed load of weight to lose (over 100lbs) and to receive advice from someone that has been there and done it would be of great help.

I am not newb entirely since i am close to my goal after a couple of months but I'd love a mentor.
A couple of stuff about me:
My name is Maria, I am from west Greece, 29years old.
I've studied Health care and Social Units administration.
My plan originally was to lose weight. Around 20BMI to start lifting, then cut till I'd reach 18.5 BMI and then proceed to bulk/cut cycle untill I reach the desired BF% result.
Everything was going according to plan, up until the point that life caught up.
I started lifting 3weeks ago and now i need to move out of town with no gym available where I am going to live, so if there's anyone that works exclusively with their body without any weights make sure to add me
I might have to maintain even, before I lose the last 8pounds.
I'd love a mentor that is active!
I have the portion/food/calorie/macros stuff under control(I believe),
But I need active people that log their exercise, which will motivate me to go out and do stuff myself!
    Stats:
    Age:27
    Height: 1.72
    CW: 59kg/130lbs
    GW: 55kg/121.2lbs
    GBF%: 16%

Hi, I am currently looking for a mentor or some sort of support group of people that have the same goals and interests as me. I am currently 150 lbs and 5'6'' and a college student and I want to start sort of get into some intense sports like boxing and rowing. My weight has fluctuated a lot and that depends typically on my work/school situation. I managed to get down to 135 lbs last summer but after not exercising and this summer's eating(my job bought us lunch a lot), I creeped back up to almost 150. So I'm looking for people that want to stay on track with nutrition, but even more so that want to become athletes. I am looking to join my school's boxing club and want to have a good diet and exercise routine to pair with training so I can be my best athletically and lose weight. Message me if you would like to mentor me or have similar goals as me.

Has found his noobs and is no longer accepting new applicants. :)

Hello, I'm Bryce, and I would like to be a mentor (one person only)! I'm into running, climbing, and generally healthy living. I'm an engineer for MFP and essentially looking for an "accountabilibuddy" to help me stay motivated to use the site.

Hello! Adopt me! I'm new, for the first week I carb cycled (poorly) but I am pretty sure that it might be a bunch of crap (or maybe not) so I am thinking about just watching calories instead. Hell I don't know. Anyways I am down almost 5 lbs and would like to lose about 45 more.

Looking for a mentor! I've been trying this weight loss stuff for nearly 2 years and never got anywhere. I've now addressed the issues before and I've completely changed my diet, im now motivated and committed to change for the better so I can begin to 'love' myself. Anyone willing to adopt me to help keep me motivated/offer support would be great! Especially as I am now I'm my final year as a nursing student so have lots of placements and essays to do and I don't want to resort to comfort eating again! Currently been at this for 2 weeks and have lost 5 inches off my waist and 2 off my hips... its looking up! Anyway I want to lose around 40-60lbs by next October. I started at 196lbs but I don't have any scales here so going my inches for now!

  • Please Help! This Newbie needs a mentor badly. I don't know what to do. Even when I go to the gym I am just kind of looking at a the equipment like uuuuhhhh what next. I need a routine. I need a plan. I need some help. I have some health issues and my doctors all feel like if I lose weight I will feel better and Lord knows I hope they are right because I want to be able to live a long healthy life with my family especially for my wonderful children. I have been trying to loose weight for sooooo long but I seem to just gain or lose 5 and gain 15. I was prescribed a medication at one point and it caused me to gain a significant amount of weight and I was weighing 220 lbs at 5'4 everything hurt on my body with that much weight on my joints! I have lost 30 lbs but I need to lose 60 to 70 more. I have set a realistic goal of 50 lbs but who knows. I might make it to the 60 or 70 with the help I need. I need to know what to eat, what to drink, what to do at the gym, how many sets to do at the gym....I am soooo confused it makes me just want to give up!
