A little closure for those of us who loved Calvin and Hobbes

Loved that comic - and still do. I still have all the books. The snowmen and dinosaurs were always my favorite ones, but they were all great. I was that kid, when I was young...didn't really fit in, made up my own games/entertainment, which usually involved aliens of some kind, etc. It's why I love them - it reminds me of what it was like to be young and without the concerns/responsibilities we have now as adults and the world actually WAS a magical place. I think when you lose that, then that is when you start to FEEL old. Bill Watterson is a genius - and an example of what it's like to be able to hang on to that piece of youth in your mind.0

I don't know whether to admire Watterson for ending the strip when he did or hate him for it.0
