I have started so many times only to gain back what I lost and to add on another 20. I just had my 2nd hernia surgery (9/1/15 ended up on a ventilator)and was told if I want to live I have to get some weight off. I am home recouping right now and using my food journal. Trying to get myself somewhat mobile. I need to do something different this time. It needs to be real and permanent. I would welcome all knowledge information on how I am going to lose over 100 lbs...

try using smaller plates (fools the eye about portion sizes) OR use the usual dishes but make a point of eating a smaller portion. Fill your glass only 3/4 full or serve the food with smaller spoons. Weigh or measure if you feel that would help control portions better.

Not only does your life depend on it, but you owe this to yourself. I promise you can do it despite how daunting it sounds. Break your weight loss goals into smaller increments (example: 7lbs per month) and take this one step at a time. It will be hard at first - but the end result will be happiness, health and survival. You can do this.
