I started my journey at 6'00" tall 250 lbs and over 42 % body fat. As of Saturday, I am 168,4 lbs and 24.8 % body fat! I wasn't able to upload pictures to my post, but see my profile picture for before (right) and after (left) pictures. My only secret was consistency, logging foods and an exercise routine 3-5 days a week. For the first time in my life, I am no longer overweight. I'm going to try to hold this weight and switch to the maintenance and focus on some heavy lifting and try to tone a bit. Thanks My Fitness Pal!!!!

I'm also 6ft, I was just wondering what your calories/typical food looks like? I'm 35lb down in a year but that's the part I'm struggling with! (My starting weight on here was 266)

I eat LOTS of protein: eggs egg whites (to keep cholesterol low) ground turkey, chicken breasts, lean steaks, pork loins, trimmed pork chops....I weigh EVERYTHING. I make sure to include loads of fiber: sweet potato, broccoli, whole wheats, brown rice, quinoa, etc. green vegetables(fresh). I've screwed up, got off track and picked right back up. I never feel guilty for straying from my diet as long as the next day, I'm back on it. I'm in the gym at least 3 days sometimes 5 days a week.
Keep going, if I did it, anyone can!
