Hi! I've been doing the keto diet for 7 days. I'm down 8lbs and felling pretty good. The first few days were super hard through. How are u doing so far?0

I've been doing it for about a week also. I only really hit a rough patch yesterday. Couldn't seem to feel full. Think my body was craving sugar as I finally found a crystal light water flavour packet and once I drank some of that I started to feel better.

I've been ketoing for 6 weeks now - down 14 lbs - although dang MFP is only showing 6 lbs lost...I'm not sure if it only shows the month's loss or if I have my settings wrong or what. I'm not on any keto facebook pages, but I'll check them out now. I do read all the reddit boards regularly and am participating in a 100 day keto challenge. If you follow this link https://www.reddit.com/r/100DaysofKeto you'll get to the 100 day challenge. Look on the right side bar & you'll find a bunch of other threads that are great. Pretty much anything you want (and don't want) to know is there. I'm always looking for weight loss buddies - I have about 80 more lbs to go.

Keep up the great work! I've been on keto for the last 18 months (carb cycled a few times). I've lost 78lbs . You should try make some fat bombs for when you're wanting something to snack on0

You may need to go to the http://www.myfitnesspal.com/measurements/edit when you are logged in and you can adjust your starting weight. I had the same problem and correcting the starting weight fixed it. Hope this works for you too!
I'm just lurking for Keto receipes. I'm T2 diabetic, so I try a lot of keto foods to supplment my lower carb meals. I do between 10 and 45 carbs per meal, which I know isn't keto at all. But it's nice way to get yummy snacks into my diet!

Bulletproof coffees (butter/cream/coconut oil) to get your fats up, google it but don't buy overpriced stuff! I started keto in September, I'm weight maintaining now - tired of the yo-yoing, want keto / paleo to be a woe, feel free to add me, not sure how long I'll keep mfp, getting the hang of it now... On it two weeks tomorrow! It hasn't been perfect, but ive managed to average less than 30g a day. It's been great...I feel like it's easier to plan meals, order food out, and I really look forward to eating compared to other ways I've tried to eat. I also feel really good and energetic. My workouts consists primarily of lifting and it hasn't affected the level of intensity I put into it at all. Feel fee to add me.0

I've just started, day 4/5. feeling wildly tired and lethargic a couple of those days as my body is getting used to having none of it's usual major energy source (I was (am?) a carb *kitten*!). Really cold at night too, which is really not like me.0

I just started keto, too. The keto strips indicate I'm NOT in Ketosis, which seems odd and frustrating to me because I'm literally eating maybe 15 grams or less of carbs a day...NO JOKE. All meat, all fats, nothing questionable. I have lost 3 lbs, though. However, I'm not sure if that is just normal water weight. Anyone else have trouble getting their body into ketosis. Maybe it's because I wasn't really a HUGE carb eater to begin with. Very few breads, pastas, or rice dishes. I look forward to reading your posts! Any suggestions, I'm all EARS:)0

I'm just about to get back into it after I go grocery shopping on Sunday. I was doing it for almost a month but went on an overseas holiday for a month and didn't continue!
