i had oatmeal for breakfast. that is an all too rare occurance. what did you have?

    I had 1/2 serving of kashi go lean cereal and 1/2 serving of smart bran, with 1/2 cup of 1% milk. :happy:
    I eat oatmeal a lot for breakfast too--yum

    Had 1/2 cup of oatmeal
    i scoop of whey protein powder
    1 cup of whole milk
    vitamins

    the whole milk versus the skim milk debate is important...we actually need some of the good fat that comes in whole :smile: milk...we just cant over do it

    I had multigrain cheerios and my new favorite breakfast accompaniment: black coffee mixed with 1 scoop of chocolate whey protein powder and a couple splendas. :bigsmile: it adds some much needed protein to my diet without the extra sugar and calories from mochas and lattes!:drinker:

    I had an apple with 2Tbls peanut butter, a reduced fat string cheese stick, and a cup of vanilla flavor soy milk. Plus my usual coffee sweetened with Splenda and a big cup of water.

    Generic bran flakes and 2% milk, with a half banana cut up on it and sprinkled with flax seed, and a coffee. 277 calories.

    Your coffee with chocolate proteen powder and Splenda sounds yummy! Is there a particular brand of the powder you use and where can I find it?

    I had the same thing I've been having everyday for a while...kroger's version of Special K with strawberries with skim milk and some coffee!

    I always have oatmeal for breakfast. I make a big pot on Sunday, let it cool, cover and refrigerate it and eat a little bit each morning. When I make it, I add two different kinds of bran also. So when I have breakfast I warm a portion of it with water in the micro. I then add ground flax seed, sometimes almonds and sometimes walnuts, cinnamon and soy milk. YUMMMY:love:

  • Haha, I had about 0.8 of a cup of Kashi cereal (beause I ran out) in unsweetened almond milk and one cup of apple/kiwi/greens smoothie with a small scoop of protein powder.

    I had a skinny carmel latte and a multigrain engish muffin with 1 tsp sugar free jelly.

    On the way to work: Coffee, sugar free international suise mocha, fat free half and half.

    At work: Kix cereal, 1% milk

    1 hour later: 1 med banana

    Todays breakfast for me was a South Beach Living high protein cinnamon raisin bar, an apple & a ginormous cup of vanilla flavored coffee.
  • Breakfast was
    2/3 cup of Cascadian Farms Organic Cinnamon and Raisin Granola
    In 1/2 cup skim milk
    1/2 Banana
    Yum :smile:

    I had a glass of V8, a Nature Valley Peanut Butter granola bar and a glass or hot green tea with honey oh, and a bottle of water!

    I forgot to eat this morning.:blushing: ..I had errands to run.....but I did have my two cups of coffee:drinker: ..My usual breakfast is 1 cup of Cheerios and a 100 calorie package of Craisins.....I also like the Multi- grain Cheerios.......If I eat oatmeal I add 1 teaspoon of Skippy and some cinnamon....:flowerforyou:

    I went away from my norm and had oatmeal with raisins and splenda today.

    I usually have 1/2 cup egg beaters with green peppers onions mushrooms 8 slices of turkey pepperoni and 3 slices of ready to eat bacon on one slice of double fiber toast. I think it's like 226 calories. Oh yeah and Coffee

    I had multigrain Cheerios with soy milk - 2 mugs of coffee and much water.

    I had lower sugar (Quaker Oats) instant oatmeal for mid-morning snack - I love that stuff and can't beat it for around 100 calories..

    Making me hungry - must go to bed..:devil: :devil:

    omelet w/spinach, onions, and FF mozz. Cheese, a slice of Trader Joe's Organic Sprouted Grain bread w/ a tsp of marmalade, coffee and half and half with xylitol to sweeten.

    I had 1 piece of whole wheat toast, 1 egg, and 2 pieces of turkey bacon!!! Nice little egg and bacon sandwich!!

    Oh ya, I want to eat oatmeal, but i usually put lots of brown suger. So what can I do that taste similar but less calories?

    My breakfast usually consists of 1 packet of Quaker High Fiber Oatmeal, either Cinnamon Swirl or Maple Brown Sugar and either a Dannon Light and Fit yogurt(Raspberry or Peach) or a Dannon Non Fat Yogurt Smoothie. It's about a 240 calorie breakfast! The fiber is making many changes in my body, good and bad, but a good source for people who might not eat much bread or take in much fiber. I max out my fiber everyday!! The yogurt gives me that sweet taste in the AM that was once taken by donuts! lol..

    I want to join a team.. any takers? First to respond wins!!

    Im not much of a breakfast person, so eating it every morning has been a challenge in itself.
    I find that Im waking up later than I should because going to bed in harder when I go to the gym in the evenings, yet its the only time I can get there. Im usually just so amped its hard for me to fall asleep..:sad: so i end up sleeping later than I should.

    When I do manage to get it in....My fav breakfast is a cup of coffee with a tablespoon of flavored creamer and 1 cup lowfat yogurt with about 1/4 cup lowfat granola mixed in. I like lemon brown cow yogurt and then i found this almond macaroon kind of lowfat granola at Whole Foods Market that is SOOOOOOO good!
