My great grandmother's way....tomato, onion, celery and jalapenos. Just a little mayonnaise and I usually add some mustard...preferably spicy!0
-
really good with fat free ranch, black olives, apples, raisins, yummy!!0
-
I make mine with minced garlic, onions, dill, pickles, pepper, a little salt and mayo or plain yogurt. YUM!! Now I want one! It's even good on a bed of lettuce instead of bread.0

Hi Max
I like mine fairly simple - just celery and low fat mayo.
Not too much mayo, or I blow all my calories in one sandwich.
I also pile it high with lettuce and a couple of slices of tomato.
That and some whole wheat bread and I can almost imagine it is healthy..

I use eggs,mayo,onions,touch of mustard,sweet pickle relish,and tonys chachere's! On the freshest bread0

*gulp*
When I eat it, I like it with enough mayo to make it nice and moist and with pickles. On soft bread with a little salt and pepper. Sometimes I put celery in too. No egg.0 -
I'm pretty simple.
Mayo and lots of pepper!!!!!!
Sliced tomato, sometimes lettuce on toasted light wheat bread.
If I'm feeling really bad, I'll throw a piece of cheese on there. :blushing:0 -
Light Miracle Whip, pickle relish, tuna. Yummy!0
-

I bascially do the same thing, Tami. I would like it with eggs but usually when I make tunafish, its done quickly and I don't take the time to boil an egg.0 -

i make 18 hard boiled eggs every weekend, so that whenever I want one (without the yolk is 17 calories) they are sitting right there in my fridge. saves me from a less righteous snack often!
*oh yeah, i forgot to say a little sugar with the black olives, apple, raisin. so good. Especially on sourdough.0 -

Never had it with mustard but I like it with sweet pickles, too. What is Tony's chachere?0 -
I use light mayo and sometimes will add in some apples and mustard.0

I like mine with just a little bit of Blue Plate mayo, mustard, eggs, dill pickles & Tony's Chachere's. I like to eat it with the flip side crackers. Yummy. It's what I'm having for lunch today on a bed of lettuce. P0

Tuna, light mayo, boiled eggs, dill pickles, granny smith apples, s/p -- but on saltines, not bread. My college roommate always made French fries to eat on the side.0
-
light mayo, dill and green onions.0
-
Light Miracle Whip, pickle relish, tuna. Yummy!
Ditto! But it's gotta have LOTS of miracle whip.0 -
I like tuna.....hmmmmmm lunch idea for tomorrow
Ok.....:smokin:
tuna with hellmans (lowfat now but used to be regular)
I like quite a bit but not too much. Makes the bread soggy
dill pickles chopped up and mixed in it,
a little bit of Frank's Red Hot (love hot sauce  )
on bread...
sometimes I add lettuce and lowfat cheese too ....
and toast the bread sometimes too...melts the cheese...like a tuna melt
sometimes no cheese depends on the mood I'm in
The End.0 -
My tuna sandwich goes like this:
tuna -- duh
drain most of the juice (not completely)
lemon pepper -- a dash
nuke it for a few seconds and eat with a fork.. nuking kills the excess juice in the tuna
...i hate bread!0 -
First of all let me just say that I had no idea that there were so many options when it comes to the classic tuna sammie! (Max you're a genius for coming up with this topic!
) I'm impressed, and a little embarrassed to say that I usually am pretty boring with my tuna concoction -- drained tuna, a little light mayo, relish, onion, salt and pepper, served on whole wheat bread and voila! Sometimes I'll mix it up and add a slice of FF cheese, but I'm usually pretty lame-o when it comes to this one.
However, after reading all of these tasty options (I especially like the thought of adding apples and grapes to it! Yumm-o!) I'm going to start thinking outside the box a little more often...!0 -

Did she just call Max a genius?
Whewwwwwww..............those two words do not belong in the same sentence
Sorry......... Max :smooched: :flowerforyou:
Actually I was kind of surprised at the different ways people make them...but don't tell Max0
