I restarted 30 Day Shred, which tends to slow my weight loss, but quicken my inch loss, so I might think about recalculating my goal, which is fine. I'm all about the inch loss! On a side note, I have not seen 215 in a long time, at least 5 years!0 -

Successes/struggles this week: I knew last week was a whoosh from all the overeating I did Halloween weekend, so no worries about this slight increase. It'll be gone by next weigh in for sure.
I haven't really struggled with anything this week. I think I'm in a good place and losing at the right pace. I'm using Libra to track my weight trends, which is consistently going down, and it has helped me keep the bigger picture in mind and remember that I am doing the right things.0 -

Week 1: Good start to month but afraid it won't last. Currently on travel visiting friends and doing all those things you do when out having fun. Nonetheless, cutting back on a few things hoping that will keep the weight in check. Good practice for those future maintenance days I guess.
Week 2: Darn good this week considering more travel to see friends then on the return a family get togethers as well. Had to make up for the extra food and wine/beer intake with additional walking plus a cut back in calorie intake on days between events. Hope to break the 180 lbs barrier before the end November. We'll see with Thanksgiving in the mix.

No a huge loss but guess what I have now dropped down to being overweight. Woohooooo! It's ironic I know but its a cause for celebration in my book.
If I reach my goal for the month I would have dropped down to my pre-first-baby weight. It was my lowest weight in all my adulthood and late teens. Anything from there on will be lowest. God willing!!

Hi! I realize the month is more than halfway over, but I wanted to join in. I've been half-a$$ing (can I swear here?) the weight loss thing for so many years now. I say I want to, I try (and succeed) for a little bit (a very little bit), but I never really change. I'm 40, and I do not want this to be me for the rest of my life. I struggle a lot with overeating, particularly in response to stress and after the kids go to bed. I'm not very good at having just one cookie. I was looking for a group to join on here to help keep me in line, and I found this. I have weight data for the month, so I'll just jump in. Hope that's ok!
