Oh. My. what have I done?
pushing myself to the limits - a swim on Wednesday, then yesterday I somehow thought it a good idea to go to a roller derby session for two hours followed by a shag class for two hours.
My derriere is bruised, my calves ache from rubbing from the skates, and I am all round pretty exhausted.
But smiling - I LOVE that feeling of physical tiredness from having DONE stuff. It makes me feel full of energy, even if my body can't actually move anywhere!! Day off tomorrow, shopping for a fancy dress costume.

My husband and I cycled an Audax Tasmania event called the "I Will Ride 100 Miles". It was a challenging ride with climbing and all sorts of weather (sun, wind, rain). Definitely one of the more difficult centuries I've done!

Hey, thanks guys for the sweet congrats! My husband's infamous statement, "I will never get married on November 14 again!" The backstory is that about 15 years ago he started going up north with his dad for a couple weeks every November to hunt. Yep, you guessed it. Dude is NEVER home for the day! So yeah, in hindsight, we might pick another month to tie the knot. Not during hunting season!! lol Now he takes our teenage sons with him so guess who is HOME SWEET HOME all by her sweet self?? ME!!! I love it! I actually look forward to it. Their homecoming is always sweet too tho.
So hey, what are you guys thankful for? It is, for us Americans, the month of Thanksgiving. But no matter your nationality, we all have much to give thanks for. Please share! I'm thankful for access to clean water and so grateful to have 2 robust healthy sons that make my heart smile daily. And of course my guy. The hunter. He's pretty darn fabulous too. Even tho he skips out on our day... Ha!

Had a great weekend which included a performance of Dracula, part of which was outside in a storm - talk about appropriate gale force winds!!!
still not made it out on the bike, and am questioning the wisdom of trying to alternate weightlifting with running - there is some very slow and awkward movement of my legs going on today!!!
