Hello everyone!
A few of you may remember me and my story - but most of you probably don't know me as it's been a few years since I was last here.
My name is Daniel. I'm 27 from Toronto, Ontario, Canada. I started my journey in late 2012. I was 5'7 and nearly 250 pounds, lacked self confidence, self worth and was depressed.
Through calorie counting, eating incredibly clean, working out and staying consistent, I was able to lose over 70 pounds and completely change my life.
Here are some pictures of my progress:

I decided to step away from MFP and stop counting and see if I was able to continue the lifestyle without the strict counting of calories etc. I deleted my old account thinking I wouldn't need it again.
To put it simply, it didn't work for me. I gained a large chunk of the weight I lost back as one slice of pizza on the weekends turned into a bacon cheeseburger on weeknights and all of a sudden, I was back to my old ways. I went from 240-160ish.. Back to around 200.
I have been going to the gym again for over a month and eating healthy for a few weeks - and I'm already starting to feel better and remind myself why I did this in the first place.
So, I'm back! I need to keep myself honest and I feel like counting calories again will put things back in perspective and make sure I stay on track.
Just wanted to say hey if anyone I used to be friends with is still around - and what's up to anyone new.
LETS DO THIS!
I want abs.. And god dammit I will have them.

Welcome back! I just came back too. (Been here since 2011.. Left and realized hey Mfp does actually work, so I'm trying again.)
Cheers to abs!!! Let's dooo this!!0 -
Oh wow great work previously. My story is so similar to yours. I just rejoined a couple of days ago as when I was last here it totally worked for me. I did the same thing and deleted my account thinking I can do this on my own and while I haven't put the weight back on, I haven't reached my goal by any means. But we've done it before so let's do it again.
