My heart beats is 100 per minute...how much calorie burn???

Guys mine is 100bpm at rest..on google i founded out that i burn 270 calories in just 1 hour..so i burn 6480 calories in 24 hours...is it true i m realllly confused...pla reply

That's waaaaaaay too many calories. Resting HR does not determine calorie burn. If that's your resting hr, please see a cardiologist.0

And a normal adult heart rate is between 60 and 100 BPM so don't worry either but a check up might nor hurt

Here are a couple articles to read--they include things that can elevate resting hr like smoking and caffeine. My cardiologist said 50-75 for target rhr. For middle aged women, a resting hr of 76 or higher indicated a possible increased risk of heart attack. And I have a family history on both sides. Something to think about!0

A resting heart rate between 60 and 100 bpm is normal.
That said I would not use that math to work out your calorie needs. Put your correct stats into MFP and do what it tells you to do.0 -
Do not use your resting heart rate to determine your calorie burn, it simply doesn't work that way. Find a decent BMR/TDEE calculator and use that.0

I'd be seeing a doctor and getting my heart checked before embarking on a fitness program. 100 BPM at rest isn't something any of us can say is definintely unhealthy for you, this being the internet and all, but ... check this chart out:

By that logic, I should be burning a zillion calories and be uber thin because my hr gets into the 170's and beyond. Yesterday I had an ablation but the doc says he couldn't ablate the entire pathway in the atrium or else I'd need a pacemaker. So I guess in the end I'll only feel a minute difference.
If your resting heart rate is 100 and beyond, then there's an issue.0 -

Guys if i burn 500 calories in 1 hour with 150 heart rate...then y not 270 calories in 1 hour with 100 heart rate???0 -

It just doesn't work that way. People with higher heart rates aren't necessarily burning more calories than those with lower. A high heart rate during exercise is an indicator of the work the rest of the body is doing (and that work is burning calories), not the cause of the calorie burning.

I am certain are mistaken in your accounting.
If your pulse is really that high at rest, meaning you are sitting on the sofa reading or watching TV, then surely it's much higher with movement, in which case it's time for you to make an emergency room visit. Tell him to check and make sure your heart is doing its job.0 -

I am certain are mistaken in your accounting.
If your pulse is really that high at rest, meaning you are sitting on the sofa reading or watching TV, then surely it's much higher with movement, in which case it's time for you to make an emergency room visit. Tell him to check and make sure your heart is doing its job.
Agreed. It's not normal to have a resting heart rate in the 100s. That's a lot of stress on the heart if it's constant, let alone if moving or exercising.0 -
My resting heart rate was as high as 140 this summer averaging at 110.... But I had serum iron level of 0 and hemoglobin of 6.3 which explained vthe tachycardia. After 8 iron infusions, 5 units of blood and exercise my rhr is back down to 60.0

Mine was in the 110's with a hemoglobin of 5.3 and a ferritin of 3. I needed 4 units of blood, one of iron, and was on high potency iron for a year. My hemoglobin is staying in the range of 13 now and my rhr is around 60 also (was 63 at my Dr.'s office this morning but it was up because I walked from the waiting room to the exam room just before it was taken.)
