I don't play them. Yet I see no problem with this in moderation. You would not believe the number of ladies I have talked to on here for hours. Why? Because they're hubs or SO was playing games all night. I see no problem at all. In moderation.0

why would it not be? we grew up on Atari and sega master systems. its no different than the generations before us being into books or records0

as long as they are paying their bills and being responsible who cares if they play video games.0

As someone who was going to school for Game development. the young adult + adult market is still one of the largest that video games are made for. Those who say video games are for children either clearly have never played a variety of video games or don't like them. Gaming has become a profitable lifestyle and past time for some who've managed to make a career out of it. I know I'm not a male but my boyfriend and I will continue to play video games into our later Adulthood. There are so many different genres of games that keep up with our interests. Video games are an interactive experience. It's a narrative that can only be played out on such a platform. You wouldn't stop going to the movies once you hit adulthood so why video games?0

And op, really?
If you see video games as something for children, you should do a bit more reading - it became another medium for interactive storytelling. There are some amazing stories out there being written for it and it's no different to going to the cinema or reading a book.

On that same note, if you give this to your children I'd think you're an awful parent (as clearly it was not the target demographic) http://www.ibtimes.co.uk/until-dawn-one-best-written-horror-games-well-worth-playing-this-halloween-15262610 -

As long as you don't care about being beat by a woman2

Why not. It's a hobby just like most others.0

Of course its ok. As long as all the priorities are taken care of & no one is being neglected.0

I'm 32 and play video games. I grew up on Nintendo(got an NES when I was in Kindergarten in 1988). As all other things nothing wrong with it in moderation. I still work a full time job, I'm married, I pay the bills that need paid.. I provide for my family. So really it's no different than any other hobby, IMO.0

What makes playing video games any worse of a hobby than sitting in front of a TV watching other grown men run around in spandex? Personally, I work 50 - 60 hours a week. I like to spend my free time with my fiancee, then reading, then playing video games, in that order.0

Why is this all about men too? Woman now take up 48% of the gaming percentage.... it's the biggest entertainment platform, apart from porn :P1

I'm a 42-year-old woman with a successful career and a happy marriage. I haven't stopped gaming since I first picked up Zork. More recently, I haven't stopped playing Fallout 4 in my spare time since launch day
Games are fantastic entertainment. Why would it *NOT* be ok?0 -
yes and women.
I plan on playing halo tonight0 -

Ill play hell out of some video games!!!!! Im 36.
I laugh at those that say "In Moderation" lol. Thanks John Madden.... Anything, no matter what it is, is bad if you take it to extremes. Moderation is key in everything0 -

Oh my GOD! I went from wanting to make you really mad to wanting to make you my girlfriend...0 -
Personally, I've put about 70 hours into Fallout 4 since launch day. I know guys who have easily spent that same amount of time in that same time span at the bar, drinking and watching sportsball. Neither of us are bothered by the other's choice of how to spend their time.0
