    boomer has got to learn to sleep in....
    well, didn't hear about the job yesterday. that's ok. it not like i have to find work. it was just extra money and give me something to do. i will take my just over pound loss. i have slowed down to 1-2 pounds a week. which they say is great. but, like everyone it's not enough.

    well, off to get more coffee

    1 pound down in the right direction. Did Zumba twice yesterday, but didn't even eat my exercise calories!! I did great yesterday and didn't even feel hungry. I think that hungry thing is in your head. When you tell yourself no, you want it. I try not to tell myself no, or eat a protein bar or protein shake to help with that craving.

    FINALLY A LOSE!!! I think 6 weeks of staying the same/up and down the same 2lbs....

    I've upped my cardio and mainly strength training-trying to lift every day.

    Wish the wind would stop blowing so I could go wog outside!! guess its extra strength, right :)

    YAY!!! So excited to be FOUR pounds lighter this week!!!! I had to check SEVERAL times this morning because I couldn't believe it! Woo! My hard work is paying off!! Started week 3 of the Ripped workouts last night and I must say my arms are killing me today! Hoping to get some arm definition doing this one!!

    Plan today:
    Food--
    B-Cereal, skim milk, coffee w/sugarfree creamer
    S-Banana, cereal bar
    L-Mixed green salad, baby tomatos, spritzer dressing, light yogurt
    S-Apple
    D-??? Power was out this morning, so my crockpot plan fell through and I was running late, so honestly...it will probably be a pizza night.
    S-FF Blueberry and cream frozen yogurt with cool whip free

    Not down much - but I'll take it!! I was down more on Friday, but I knew after this weekend that I had, it would be up some!

    Kristin - woot woot!! Look at you girl!!!

    Cathy, Shanell, Lorena - all 1 lb or over!! Yay!!!!

    I did the C25K Week 2 day 1 yesterday and it felt really good! I even was in the wind and in a hilly part of my neighborhood so i was pretty stoked! :glasses:

    Hanging out with a girlfriend after work and then going out to eat so might not getting a run in today and will have to watch what I have for supper, but I'm going to do my best to behave!

    Chipper - 1-2lbs per week is great! but I know how you feel... I always want more! Keep it up!!!


    Last night we intended to go for a 4 mile hike... got a bit lost (and ended up doing 7.5 miles... :bigsmile: ) We alternated walking and running... so I have no idea what kind of calories I burned... my HRM died :ohwell: but I know it felt great! Going to try and get in another 4-5 miles tonight, but probably not in the woods... there were WAYYYY too many mosquitos... :grumble:

    Todays plan...

    B1 - Slept in, so I didn't end up grabbing anything... :embarassed:
    B2 - Pear
    L1 - Grilled chicken salad
    L2 - Granola
    D1 - Making something random with salsa and chicken... like a chicken salad made with salsa... :laugh: idk
    D2 - I may treat myself to a cold beer or drink w/ the BF :flowerforyou:

    Exercise - 30 minutes (2 miles) walk @ lunch - check! :flowerforyou:
    60 - 90 minute run/walk on the board walk w/ the pups and BF
    Ab video (if I can find it)

    Plus, I need to do some cleaning - big cookout this weekend!
