Oh! This is really hard!
I was sooooo busy yesterday.
Didn't walk, jog, or lift weights.
Didn't do my Ab Challenge.
Got home at 10:30 last night, exahusted, and ate 4 cookies that I did not have a calorie allowance for.
But...today I get a do over!
Already jogged 5k.
Going to gym for weights and Abs after work. Then grocery shopping.
Dinner is in the crock pot.
Cookies logged.
Keep fighting everyone!0 -

That's right keep fighting!! Maybe it's some sort of crazy weird scale thing but I can't believe how much weight on the scale I've lost since we started this challenge. We're going to wake up thursday morning so refreshed!!0
-
I've lost more than expected also, mostly because I'm not eating back all of my exercise calories. I also commited at the beginning of the month to be extremly accurate in my weights and measures.
My husband is worried, but I figure I'm banking it for going over a couple of days at Christmas and it will all work out in a couple of weeks to my regular normal loss.0 -
Thought of the day to ponder.
The mind is known for it's insistence on flooding us with a constant barrage of thoughts. Many of which are unreliable or unproductive. Some are not, many are.
When you're in that moment of decision. "I want to eat these cookies so bad. " or "I don't feel like working out. " try to recognize that that is really just a thought. That's all it is, just a thought. And you can let that thought pass if it's unproductive.
Onwards! Less than 2 days!0 -
Dude....are you spying on me?
Just sitting here trying to get up the gumption to do my Ab Challenge.
All right. I won't let my thoughts lead me astray. I'm on it!
Did good today, did my hours worth of e xD ercise and stuck to my calorie goal.0 -
This is it you guys! Almost there!0

This thread has been so good for me. I am on maintenance and was below my goal of 119. This morning I was 118.6.
Totally in control of my eating this year.
Thanks for the support you guys and Merry Christmas to all.
PS I have lost 43 lbs at age 68. An age when some say "no way can I lose weight at my age"!!! So not true. You just have to want it bad enough to put in the work and dedication.0 -

Wow you should be so proud! That's an awesome accomplishment, and you're an inspiration to many.
Thanks for joining us on this ride!0 -
Remember ya'll, all you have to do is push through to tomorrow.
Really, this is it. THIS IS THE LAST DAY.
No matter how well you did here during this little sprint to Christmas, every one of you should be proud of yourselves.
The past is now behind you. No matter what went down the last 10 days we all have an opportunity now to change our lives. Today, right now, right here.
Let's make the next 24 hours count. Together!0 -

I did the same yesterday- ate at maintenance and did 10,000 steps. So close now! I'll be over indulging tomorrow so that makes it easier to eat less today

- 2-3 BJJ/judo sessions at least
- My final body 20 session
- Try out the roller blades I borrowed
- 2 fitness classes
- 1 weights class
- At least one ocean swim
- Maybe get a run in, esp. if it rains (not too hot then)
Body 20 done,
2 bjj sessions done - no judo this week as I have shoulder issues. Hoping to get another bjj set in today
1 mini weights set (half the normal time, but better than nothing)
No fitness class yet, but definitely tomorrow
Swam, not in the sea but it's something
Will make time in weekend for roller blades and hopefully a run, maybe early morning beach run0 -
Did most of what I planned today and went slightly over on calories, but not a bad day overall.
Tomorrow I plan to have a light breakfast and lunch and take a walk in the morning. At 2 we are gong to church and the festivities will be on full force for a couple of days.
Merry Christmas to all of you. Thank you for the encouragement and support.0 -
CONGRATULATIONS EVERYONE!!! WE DID IT!!!
Whether you stuck with it 100% or 60% I'm proud of everyone. It's the toughest time of the year to do something like this and you should all be proud of yourselves. At the very least you made the choice to change your life. And even if it didn't work out perfectly this time, I'm confident that motivation will come with you into the new year when you'll really be ready to rock and roll.
I hope to do more challenges like this in January and the new year, please come along for the ride! And I'm def. more than willing to be friends on MFP with anyone and everyone that wants another friend on here for some extra support.
And hey, I'm actually nearing the end of my personal trainer certification and just the other day made a Facebook page. You can join me on there too to talk about whatever you want in health and fitness! https://www.facebook.com/MattJFitness/
I'm so impressed with everyone here, happy holidays!!

Thanks Matt!0 -

You guys all crushed it! So proud I'll be logging and hitting the tracking hard starting next week but I'm thinking about another challenge after New Year's Eve. So keep your eyes on the forums and feel free to add me as a friend so you know when it's going down!0

Wow! You guys are awesome! Wtg! I hope you all had an amazing Christmas!
This past week has been really tough for me. I was running on 4 hours a sleep a day, at the store everyday for 10 hours, 6 months since dad passed was Christmas eve, and then some sad stuff going on regarding my son and my grandbaby. It's been rough and I wanted to push through, but it didn't happen. This week my schedule is back to normal so I'm going to get back to eating healthy and back to regular exercise, so I will be ready for the New Year. 2016 is going to be the year I give back to myself!
Add me if you'd like, I've been on this journey for almost 7 years, maintained a healthy weight for 6, then fell apart. So I'm on my way back from that and love mutual support so as to not be on this journey alone.0 -
well done everyone!0

An excellent short new challenge group starts tomorrow!0
-
Thanks, this was great. I'm definitely keen for more challenges. Gotta hit it hard to make weight for competition in exactly two months!0
