    Back from Christmas/the cruise/too many days of travel! (A wee bit bummed to have lost my logging streak so close to the one-year mark, since I had no internet access.) Moved the scale to a different room (and couldn't figure out, pre-coffee, how to recalibrate it), then decided to get a New Year base-line reading fully clothed... Yikes!

    I'll just have to go from there...

    My goal, this month, is to get back down to a plain-old 'Overweight' reading. I figure my clothes weigh a couple of pounds, so I'll allow for that: 197, then?!?

    Successes/struggles this week: My struggle lately has been with friends and relatives coming into town for the holidays, I've been eating out A LOT - sometimes twice a day - and I feel horrible. On the success side of things, this is the first monthly challenge I've joined in a couple of years, and I just asked my brother if he'd go for a run with me to kick things off.

    Struggles: Never tried losing weight by counting calories. So have to see how it goes.
    Gained all this weight 12yrs ago during pregnancy and never lost it from that time.
    Plan: Yoga, walking and some group exercise classes.

    Weight lost/gained this week: I haven't weighed myself since the 22nd December, i was pleased to find out i had only put on half a pound over the christmas period. I had a birthday on the 27th too so there was alot of celebrating. Well I'm back on it now and have included some excersise. I am doing the c24k and a zumba class once a week.
