Super annoyed - spouse habits

My husband has some really annoying habits and I just need to vent.

1. Breathing though his mouth, and it's loud. I am listening to him right now from another room. He's not sick, and it is super annoying to listen to. I've tried asking, him, hey, are you having breathing issues, because you are breathing really loudly? Nope he's fine. Seriously I'd like to stuff a rag in his mouth most days.

2. Chewing food. I know I'm not the only one who hates hearing people chew food, but besides the fact that he also chews loud, his jaw clicks when he eats. Yes, I've listened to this for 5 years now.

Vent over, if you can relate feel free to share.

I know I sound bitchy, but come on, hearing someone breathe that's in another room, is not normal! Ok maybe if they are exercising, but he's on the computer. :#

The chewing thing! My BF is the loudest chewer in the world, and whenever I say something I'm being overly critical. PLUS he insists on coming whereever I am to eat. He can be watching TV but will crawl into bed with me just so I can watch him eat. SO ANNOYING.

Re the clicking jaw, it sounds CRAZY but I asked my doctor about that and was told it's a dental thing - I ended up at a dental specialist who then sent me to a Physio therapist who worked on my uneven body stance and I had exercises to do - such as to never have your mouth closed, but go around with it open. Other things with a ball and a rolled up towel - the list goes on and on. But my jaw hardly ever clicks now.

I totally feel you on those. I can not stand to hear someone breath or eat, lol. My ex-husband was a loud breather and I would constantly be annoyed, can you just not breath or something. And the lady who sits next to me at work is a loud eater and she eats all. day. long. Besides the fact that I am trying to lose weight listening to the sound of her spooning oatmeal or shoveling hot chips down her throat is frustrating.

The only thing that annoys me about my husband is when he puts the dirty dishes in the wrong section of the sink. ;) That's about the only thing, though.

    My MOM though.............

Stand aside, I can fill this whole website! We have been married for 35 years, so things have added up.

He is forgetful - says he will do things like take out the recycle bins, and then doesnt. To be fair, he is almost 67 years old (omg I am sleeping with a senior!) and it could be the first signs of dementia in which case I better start practicing his signature!)
    He snores - nuff said.
He isnt handy around the house. I always said I married a trophy husband, and the trophy was the booby prize.
He is technically challenged - cant program the tv, no cell phone, no computer skills - nada.

On the other hand, he is honest, generous, caring, kind to animals, very protective of family and friends, and thinks I hung the moon - cant do better than that!

i can relate, i have misophonia, and yes, people can make fun of it, or say I'm exaggerating, but it has cost me a lot over the years. i have chosen to isolate myself which is a very sad way to live. movie theaters, concerts, restaurants cause me great anxiety. Noises that are annoying to most, cause me a great deal of distress. pen clicking, nail tapping, swallowing, teeth clicking on utensils, omg, the list is long and maddening. Luckily i have someone who understands that its me and not them and is willing to let me leave the room when i get overwhelmed without getting upset with me. oh, and my noises dont bother me. lol. irony.

I would love to see a man come in here and start a thread about the habits of his wife that he hates.

He'd be burned at the stake.

All those little annoying things is what makes my wife special! Everytime I have to fix the tube of toothpaste when she squeezes it in the middle or when the car is a little low on gas when I climb in, I thank God that she is there to annoy me!

It's awesome how you don't do anything that's remotely irksome and that all of your movements, sounds, habits, and speech patterns cause your husband nothing but bliss. Now you get to hold those awful attributes over his head with nary a care that anything you do might bother him in the slightest. Go you!

The only thing I'm thinking of currently (and I almost don't want to post because its so disgusting) is him spitting (from chewing tobacco) into the trash and/or sink the entire time he's cooking IN FRONT of our guests. Yeah, it's his nephew and fiance but man it's so unsanitary and just down right gross. SO. GROSS. I need to mention it before we have people over again.

But I know I annoy him far more than he annoys me and he still loves me, lol!

I love everything single thing about my man.... but the way he eats. CHOMP CHOMP

He is so perfect in every other way I have learned to tune it out and I would NEVER trade him for anything. I am sure I annoy him somehow too. NO ONE IS PERFECT! But he is so freakin close! :o
