Fodmap diet

Has anyone tried it my doctor recomended it but everything is so much more money and is very limited on what you can eat. Just looking for more info on this diet

She means "FODMAP." It's a diet that limits certain carbohydrates, designed to address IBS symptoms.0 -

Its Fodmap the letters each have a meaning. It take gluten, beans, dairy, many different kinds of fruit and vegies from your diet it helps with different stomach problems.0 -
I haven't done a strict FODMAP elimination diet, but I do try to limit my intake of those foods. It's helped my IBS symptoms tremendously.0

Thats what I think im going to do just eliminate as much as posible but its hard to eat out if you cant eat wheat. I will eat toast for breakfast but white bread when we go out but other wise try to keep it gluten free.0 -

We're going out tonight. So I had eggs for breakfast and a salad (with no bad FODMAP ingredients) for lunch. So if I have a bit of bread tonight I'm still keeping my total FODMAP intake for the day low. It works fairly well for me, but it's all very individual.0 -
For breakfast, you can eat eggs and bacon. Or Rice Chex cereal with not dairy milk or yogurt.
For restaurants order meat and potatoes (sweet potatoes or white) and vegetables that are on your list like carrots, green beans, zucchini, broccoli,
