5'1.5". I eat 1200 calories most days. I've tried higher amounts but wasn't getting the weight loss I wanted. I do some body weight strength training at home and try to get some walking in whenever I can. I don't track or eat back exercise calories, I just consider them a bonus. Some days I eat 1400, but I don't sweat that. Sometimes 1200 feels a little too restrictive and I need a bit of a break.

i'm 5'3, sedentary, and my calorie allotment is 1200. I'm almost always under it. I do go to the gym a few times a week and I eat back some of those calories.0

5 and 1.75 inches and I lose fine on 1440. Started at 1200 and lost the first 25 lbs on that but now that I'm a little over 1/3 to goal, and out if the obese category, I've lowered my loss rate to 1 lb per week and increased my activity level so I can have more and still lose fine:) liking this calorie allotment better.0

I'm 5'2 and net 1200-1300 after exercise and some calories I eat back.0

I'm 5'2 and I eat about 1650. Lightly active.0

I'm 5ft1, 42, 134lbs and walk a minimum of 15,000 steps a day and eat anywhere between 1500 and 2000 depending on hunger. My Fitbit tells me I burn over 2000 cals a day and appears to be correct as I average around 1lb a week loss.0

I'm 5'1" and I eat around 1500 - 1600 calories. I run daily and do NOT eat back my calories.
I tried doing the 1300 that was recommended for a lb a week and was HUNGRY.0 -
5'1 and 110lbs. I eat about 1700 to 1900 per day to lose 0.5 per week as I slowly switch to maintenence in the next few weeks (once I'm under 108lbs).
Then I'll be aiming to eat my TDEE which is around 2150. But I think I'll keep it to 2000 and see how I do, since I like to have a little cushion for inaccuracies in logging and my fitbit.
I'm pretty active. If I were sedentary I'd eat about 1450 to maintain.0 -
Remember it will depend on age dieting life and medication
Everyone's different
If youve yoyoed years on low calories you can't eat so many as someone who never yoyoed
Contraception will effect weight & other medications
I know 20 year ago at 1600 id lose 2-3lbs easy a week now it's 1/2-1lbs a week on 1500 years yoyoing medication and near menopause will effect us0 -
5'1" 112 lbs 55 yrs old and I average 1400 calories daily.0

I'm 5' 2" (well a little bit smaller to be honest) and I'm 51. My calorie limit is set at 1,200 but I get an extra 400-600 each day due to exercise. I usually eat about half of of those back. I started at 152lbs on Jan 1st and was 144lbs this morning. I'm aiming for another 14lbs. I'm large framed and anything under 130 makes me look unhealthy.
I don't eat 'clean' and I like a drink. I went to Ruby Tuesdays yesterday and have had pizza and curry regularly this month.0 -
I'm 160cm (I believe that's around 5'2) and I eat 1200 daily plus excersize that I don't eat back.0

Im alittle taller, 5'3 and at 1300 calories.started at 134pnds, down to 125pnds. I would not go higher. My husband is 5'9" , 210pnds, and is 1900 calories, just to give you a perspective. Hope this helps0

I'm just over 5'1 and I eat 1550 + 80% exercise calories. When I stick to it, I lose consistently and have no problems keeping it off. Right now sitting at about 65 lbs down0

15000

I'm 5'1" and when I'm actively trying to lose, I eat around 1200. MFP has me set at 1400 to maintain and that's pretty spot on. I find if I eat over that, I gain. I've been taking a break for January and only trying to maintain, and that's what I've been doing with 1400. I haven't gained, but I haven't lost anything. I am down to my last 8 pounds, trying to get to about 115. All of these numbers take a sedentary activity level into account. I do eat back almost all exersise calories, but that has been zero this month. Spring, where are you?0

5'1, 34 years old and 140. I net 1200 so with exercise I usually eat around 1500 a day. I do not think I could sustain this only eating 1200 calories.0

5'1, 118 lbs, goal 110 by 1/2 lb per week loss. 36 years old.
23% bodyfat ( by tape measure and army calculator, visual estimates, for what its worth)
RMR 1292
TDEE 2154
Over the past few weeks I found that my sweet spot for 1/2 lb/ week loss is around 1600 net calories per day. I get low-moderate intensity exercise at least an hour per day. I log exercise and eat back all my calories.
Once I reach my goal, I'll aim for 1800 net cal for maintenance and see how it goes.
Initially I used the MFP guided setup, which recommended about 1400 net calories. . I was losing faster than I wanted, 1-2 lb/wk even when eating back all my calories. Might sound great on paper but but it made me sluggish and miserable, which was pretty counterproductive when I am trying to learn dance..and be happy.
I found that using bodyfat % and TDEE calculators made a lot more sense, and it was consistent with the data I'd collected on myself the past few months.

4'11 (and a half) and 103-104lbs. 18% body fat.
I aim for 1050-1200. If I exercise, I eat back at least some of those calories. I take a "cheat day" once a week and will often have a day on 1300-1400 calories and this keep me from burning out on the low cal days. Things move slowly when you are small-- 10 lbs over 6 months for me.0 -

I eat 1400 cals on average per day, 5ft2, aged 22 and light activity. I lose about 0.5lbs per week on average.0

I'm 5'2", 32, 144lbs and currently losing at a rate of 1.5lbs/week. I've been using a Fitbit One for six months and it's been pretty accurate about my calorie burn. I burn about 2100 cals/day so for my 1.5lbs/week loss I eat about 1350 cals/day. I'm pretty active (walk 5 miles every day at a good clip).0
