I'm guessing they hoped they'd get more ad views by finding a sneaky way to put forum subsections back on the list for people that had blocked Chit Chat.0

I've been found out! Well now that the cat's out of the bag, I guess I might as well explain how it works. Basically, it's a simple probability algorithm that uses some sophisticated math to determine the proper forum. The code generates a virtual coin, tosses it, and then picks the corresponding forum via a heads or tails.0 -

Per Alex over on the MFP Forum Feedback thread...
We have added 2 new categories today:
1. At popular request we have split off Fun & Games from Chit Chat.
2. We have created a new category for hot topics, called "Nutrition Debate" - we consider this category a beta section but hope to see it be a successful area for discussing contentious nutrition topics that are often considered derailing when coming up in other parts of the forum. Note this category is not yet live, please look for it to appear in the next couple of days.0 -
