Any program will work for getting you in shape (if you commit to it - not too many duvet days!) but if you don't cut your calorific intake you will just be a fitter and perhaps heavier (due to new muscle) version of you.0

I enjoy the gym however bodyweight exercises are very challenging.0

Losing weight is done by eating in a calorie deficit. Not by specifically working out.

You can do all of the exercise in the world - if you're not eating at a deficit, you won't lose weight.0 -
I'd argue that for a beginner loosing weight that bodyweight and plyometrics will do far more for you than expensive weights or lingering around gym machines.0
