Sunday was great, but yesterday was only half my goal. Today s another day!0

My kids and I all drink a gallon a day. It helps curb hunger too. I have learned for me, I drink more water if I have a cup or water bottle with a straw. And no matter the temperature, I do better if my water is cold.0

A gallon in 24 hours is perfectly healthy assuming you don't have any health problems and kidneys work fine. However for those that are concerned a great guideline is to take your body weight and divide in half and drink that many ounces a day.
I'm joining late but I'm joining, lol. Nice to meet everyone. I'm new here looking for friends0 -
I'd definitely like to try!

I'm with some...I'm aiming to get all 8 glasses of water in. This past week I was unable to 8, and I know it will help with weight loss, but I can't go to the bathroom that often. I teach school and only have two breaks in the day. Snow day tomorrow so I might as well start. Thirty days will be March 11. I've got it marked.

Drank 80oz yesterday. Explain to me how I've lost 2.4 lbs since Monday but I feel bigger than ever? I'm SO bloated!! I feel as if my circumference is as big as my height!0

Been averaging about 32 oz a day except for Tuesday and Wednesday this week. Got maybe 8oz. Back on track today. Going to go for at least 50 oz. Especially since it is suppose to be 80 degrees here in Austin, Tx. Everybody is doing a great job out there drinking that water. ☺0

That's good to hear. It definitely got easier for me as the day went on. Guess the water was flushing toxins out at first.0 -
Was able to drink 100oz or a little over 8 cups today. Much better than yesterday.0

I'm in. I actually just finished day 3 on my own and then found this challenge. MFP community newbie here. Thanks for having me.0

Eeeekkkk.....my weekend did not go well for this challenge. Started over yesterday and drank 1/2 a gallon.
Back to it today.0 -

You can die drinking too much water.
1 gallon is not too much at all. I don't know where you heard your info from but you are not going to die from drinking anything close to 1 gallon.0 -
Anyone still doing this? I actually log my water, just created a "food''
My goal is 2 litres0 -
I m still doing this. It gets easier each week0

I just saw this but had already decided to give up pop (it was all I would drink all day and I quit cold turkey! Yay!) Anyways I think this is a great idea! Already on day 12 and plain ice water has become my go-to drink. I drink some orange juice and milk but 98% is just plain water. It seems hard to drink that much Agua but it's sooo simple actually... once your body adjusts. You'll have a major detox and feel sooooooo much better after a week!!!! Keep going everyone!!!0

You're detoxing. You will feel bloated because your body is retaining the water but it will get better as you adjust. It's just cleansing and washing you out right now.0
