    I am a troll and I am proud of it.

    The first rule of being a troll is to not admit to being a troll....or something like that.

    Most boards would get pretty stale w/o trolls. For that reason alone, I don't mind them.

    I thought that was fight club... oh s%^&, I've gone and said it

    Anyone ever have a trolling attempt backfire?

    Yes. Prime example (although this is an IRL troll), my mom got this call from a random blocked number. The patron on the other line was trying to troll her by saying "HURR DURR control your cat! It's crapping all over our lawn!" She hasn't had a cat in going on 10 years now. But instead of saying such (which would have probably resulted in the patrons on the other line saying something like "lol you don't have a p*ssy? What are you a dude?), she told them word for word (sorry for the cursing if that offends; my mom is a drunken sailor) "I encourage my cat to take a *kitten* on your lawn as often as I can because you're such a c*nt. I hope you die." and she proceeded to hang the phone up. Needless to say, the patrons that called before called again and tried to get dox but their attempt failed.

    Tl;DR Yes, if you try to troll a troll.

    Oh IRL trawling....soooo much better than interwebs trawling. :3

    I think others would sleep better at night if they thought I was a troll. The sad truth is, I...REALLY...just...don't...have...a...filter. It broke sometime in my early 20s. Thankfully that little curse comes with SUPER thick skin ;)

    Freakin' idiots in my opinion. Kind of like people with Tourettes except without the charm and cool swearing and shi*t. So, in other words nothing like people with Tourettes.

    A have known a few trolls in my time who have elevated it to an art form. Full blown personas which reel people in effortlessly. It's a dying skill though with most trolls these days one dimensional, pale imitations of their former masters.

    So sad.

    A little troll only bothers me if I let it.

    Sometimes it is fun to just go right back at them with some crap that makes no sense. That way they cannot compute that in their troll brain and usually wander back to the MTV forums they came from.. :glasses:
