I'm 5'5" and my goal is 135. Yrs ago (10yrs ago) I was 138 at my lowest and I use to think I was fat all the time! What I wouldn't kill to be there again! LOL0

I like to refer to myself as pushin 5'5" : ) I have a small frame. I started at 136lbs. (tho I have been up past 150) and my orginal maintenance goal was 125lbs. I reached that and kept going till my body just said this is where I should be. My current maintenance goal is 115lbs and I've been maintaining for almost a year now I think. Now I typically weight b/t 110-112lbs. depending on the week. Much sucess on your journey!!! Just listen to your body is my best advice : )0

I am 5ft 4 and 142lb- I think up to 143/144 is "healthy" and I am not happy being the top end of the range!
I would ideally like to lose 14lb but 10lb would be lovely.
I was 9lb lighter when I got married 2 years ago (why do we all put weight on after our weddings?!) and want to get back to at least that for August/sept when we go on hols- at the moment I feel like a fat blob in a bikini and although I have never been skinny- I never had an issue with my body until now0 -
Well i'm actually 5'4 and a 1/2 and weigh 155 lbs, around your weight.
I weight mostly size 5-7 size jeans and medium sweatshirt is way too big for me.
im not sure whether that's because my body size is a bit weird but i'm trying to get down to 110-115?
Because people like me, it takes a lot of weight loss to see that i've lose weight.

I work in kg, so this will sound weird... No round numbers!
I started losing weight at around 154, then stopped around 132 for a while. At 132 I still have a double chin, and my waist was still two sizes bigger than my hips.
Just after Christmas I decided to aim for 121 and I got there pretty easily. For me, the bottom of my range is a BMI of 20 because less can affect your fertility.
Goal weights can change and you can always go lower/higher later.0 -
I'm 5'5" and my goal is 140 lbs and a flat tummy...if I get there and the tummy hasnt budged I will go a bit lower but now lower that 130 - 135lbs....I have a medium frame and the last time I was 125 pounds was in my teens and I was hipless and boobless so I gave myself some extra pounds for the lady bits lol (hoping I get to keep them). I'm aiming for a curvery frame but toned so I dont mind a couple extra pounds once its all within a healthy ranges, some prefer a more athletic looking body so it depends and what you want....0

I'm 5'5" - thought I was 5-4 but recently measured myself - and my goal is 145. I don't know what a realistic goal for me since I haven't been under 160 my entire adult life. I'm aiming for 145 and I'm going to see how I feel from there. If I feel like I'm OK weight wise I'll probably emphasize toning and see where that takes me.0

I'm 5'4 medium frame, started at 145ish now 130-131 with a goal of 125. I'll reassess at that point. I want to be in the 120's but nicely toned with muscle definition so I may need to go lower to reduce body fat percentage or it may be fine being higher.0

I'm really closer to 5'3, but I say 5'4 A doctor once told me if I were perfectly proportioned I would weigh 120, but I have a "large" body frame and 125-130 is really a lot more comfortable for me. Try not to focus on the number, but more on how clothes fit and your muscle mass. Good luck!0

I am 5' 4 and startedst 145, I am currently at 133-132 and have not lost anything for a month. I would love to get to 130 bit my original goal was 135 so maybe I am already at my goal.0

Im 5ft 4 and weigh 71kg not sure what that is in pounds tho!I was 64kg(after losing 12st) and was told by doctor i was too think for my body frame and he was worried about me!!I have since put on about a stone and he is much happier with me.........he is!!im not so i want to get back to my "happy weight" of about 65kg!!0

I know I'm overweight at 71kg, and chubby at 65kg, so we must have very different frames! I'm surprised a doctor was worried at that weight though. Did he test your body fat or something?0 -
I am 5' 4'' and I am looking to get to 140lbs, I can't ever remember being there, I suppose I was years ago!! Don't know wh at I will look like, so if I look too thin I can put a few pounds on or could lose a few more. these days I hardly recognise the woman staring back in the mirror at me!!!0

I'm shooting for around 120 but I have a small frame. I think between 120-125 is probably where I'll end up most likely.0

I am 5'4" and my goal is 125. I think the healthy range for our height is 125-145....but don't quote me on that. I think you could probably do an internet search or even search through this site to see what the "typical" weight range for our height should be...then take it from there. I have been 125 before and felt super healthy so that's my goal but finally got down to 142 so I'm feeling pretty good! Good luck~Fran0

It really depends on your body frame.

Determine your frame size (http://www.healthstatus.com/calculate/fsz). Then find a better idea of "ideal" range (http://www.halls.md/ideal-weight/met.htm)... and you'll note it is still a range. Every person is different.
I'm 5'3.75", with a large frame (wrist circ = 6.75") and my ideal weight is 135-145 (not by calculator, but from experience)... I'm personally aiming for the lower end, and 18-20% bodyfat, for maintenance wiggle room.0 -
I've found 130 is perfect weight for me. I am 5' 5" with medium frame.0

I am 5'5" and I weighed 135 (roughly) in highschool. My goal weight right now is 140. Looking back now I wish I could have appreciated how awesome I looked!! haha But it has to do a lot with what size frame you have as everyone is saying....0

I am 5'5" and weighed 156.8 this morning. I have a medium frame and carry most weight in the tummy area. At this weight I feel short, dumpy, and frumpy. My goal is to get to 140 and then go from there. Good luck in your journey.0

I am 5'4", starting weight 157.4, goal weight 120, BUT I have bigger hips so I might adjust that once I hit about 130-125. I'm currently at about 142.0

I am 5'4" and they told me I shpoud be 140. But I was up to 268 at one time and was also told at my age (55) and loosing that much weight I would have quite a bit of excess skin.....so I am shooting for 180 and exercising to firm up what I can.0

I'm 5'4" and my goal is 160 lbs. However, I have quite a bit of muscle mass. My old goal was 140 lbs but 140 lbs is my current lean body mass and I really don't want to lose that much muscle. 160 lbs assumes some muscle loss for me but mostly fat loss, which is what I would prefer.
I'd be happy in a size 10 or smaller, though, no matter what the weight (and I am currently between size 14 & 16 depending on the store at 208.4 lbs).0 -

I'm 5'5 and right now I weigh between 125-127. When I was up to 136, I hated my body. Now I'm okay with it, but I would like to be 115-118 with a leaner middle. I have womanly hips and am average build. It really depends on your build, but I think anywhere from 115-140 is optimal.0

I am 5'5" and I looked my best when I was 135-140lbs. I think my bones are dense because I looked like a toothpick in high school I was 115lbs-123lbs.0
