Sweating at work

I walk every day on my breaks at work and then climb the stairs to the 6th floor of my office. I tend to get really sweaty when doing that (especially those stairs). I've become accustomed to just using napkins to wipe my head (I'm bald) to get the sweat off. I'm finally getting tired of being so wasteful and am considering bringing a towel to wipe myself at work.

Is this considered "gross" and should I avoid doing it at work? It's not like I'll leave the towel here every day - it'll be going home and getting washed regularly.

I keep baby wipes & deodorant in my desk drawer. If I walk in the heat, I use the ladies room to towel off.

This is why I never exercised at lunch when I worked for someone else.

I'd say use a small wash cloth so it's not so bulky. It's what I would bring to the gym :)

Good for you getting out and about and taking the stairs.

If you feel self conscious, just give yer heid a wipe down in the loo's.

I keep baby wipes and deodorant in my office which are fine most of the time. We also have shower facilities so I keep some travel shower stuff here...I really only use it in the summer when I'm drenched in sweat from my ride.

First it depends on what type of job you have. For example I workout over lunch and sweat, I have small hand towels that I use to wipe the sweat. I simply come back to my office close the door, and turn on a desk fan directly faced towards me.

I don't think so, but then I'm in a very informal office setting. Get a microfiber towel, they dry quick, and don't typically stink.

I work out in our office gym every day and take a shower afterwards. As long as you don't smell, it's all good. I agree with the wash cloth and deodorant. If it's truly concerning maybe bring a tshirt to wear while you walk and change out of it when you are done. I mean, you probably change your shoes, why not your shirt?

I have a microfiber towel for this purpose and lately I've been changing shirts (thank you work for always giving us tshirts I'd never wear otherwise) to go walk... getting to the point where I want to change pants too. Least you're a guy and don't have to deal with boob sweat (eww TMI, I know I know).

I also have deodorant at work.

I've only really had one slip up at work, but we all laughed it off. I forgot about a meeting I had after lunch with some Google Engineers, was out on my walk, as far out from our campus as you can get and my reminder alert pops up on my Apple Watch, had to hoof it back quick and toweled off as best I could, but still came into the meeting all red and breathing heavy still.

i have that issue after a hard work out.
i would keep a microfiber towel and baby wipes.
also maybe have an ice pack or something similar to help cool off

I don't see a problem as long as the towel goes home regularly (every day?) sweaty towels can get pretty rank if they're kept in an enclosed space.

On days when I bike to work I'm pretty sweaty by the time I get to the office. Fortunately I have a private office and can change into my work clothes (no shower at work - I towel off) and can hang my bike gear up to dry out.
