I have been doing this lately. My dog is not a huge fan of this at all. There is no way he wants me to get out the door without him, but is far more excited about heading home. The last two days he is sleeping by his food and water dish half the day

I kno this isnt part of the discussion but how do u guys post pictures? Also i walk my fog every day lol he dosnt like to walk

Unfortunately you can't add pics from the app, have to use the computer. Or at least, I can't from my Android. Not sure about the iPhone app.

You're right @wizzybeth. It won't work for iPhone either. Maybe if you go premium?

The forums on MFP use BBcode so technically if you have the URL to your picture (which you can get by uploading it somewhere [like facebook or twitter] and right clicking to copy 'image URL') you can add it as [*img] IMAGE URL HERE [*/img]

    * Remove the '*' symbol when you go to post. This works for all platforms as far as I know

Does walking with my pup on the treadmill count??:smiley: He loves it and even stays on for the highest incline on our treadmill, which is really cute. Then I go outside and play fetch with him while I cool off (since he's in WAY better shape than I am, lol). We'll need to walk down to the mailbox this afternoon too. Otherwise we usually go out for family hikes and longer walks on the weekends.

My pup Chelsea loves her walks/runs/ rides. She is a very energetic dog and I can't keep up with her!
This is from our morning walk today, always try to give her about 45 mins in morning before I head to work.
I think we might start hiking on the weekends :-)

5am walk with Chelsea this morning, 3km. Now off to the gym for me, 6am, and then straight to work. If I head to gym in the mornings that means I can take the dog to the park after work :)

Love this and love all the photos!! Mine are all old- 3 over 14 and I have 4 of them- so we really can't do 30 minutes a day, but they still love a walk and we are not good about going daily. I will post our "oldster" walk tomorrow. The younger one runs with me. Here's one of our oldsters walking on the beach last spring.

I am definitely in! My poor pup needs way more walks than she gets. Not to mention she's getting a bit hefty

Fat dog was SO happy to be on a walk. She could only do 15 minutes... Poor girl I feel so be I've let her get that out of shape.

Nice. Dogs who don't exercise, especially German Shepherds run into huge medical problems (weak hind legs and others).

Walked a mile yesterday and a mile and a half today with my Jack Russell. She has a lot of spunk for 13 yrs old.
