This.
Feels weird, but so true.
This! So much this!

When your husband cofesses that he saw a woman standing in front of his work and thought, "wow, that's a beautiful woman" and then thought," oh..WOW..that's my wife!"
Awww!
After walking on my treadmill, I realized I no longer had an uncomfortable rash where my thighs used to rub together, and the inside legs of my shorts no longer ride up to my crotch when I'm walking.
I was getting dressed this morning and when I looked in the mirror, I realized my collar bones were visible and I no longer had 3 chins.

THANK YOU!!!! to whom ever started this, I have really enjoyed reading all of the posts, I have laughed and cried, and I have found myself in many......Don't ever forget HOW HARD we all have worked to get here and HOW HARD we have to continue to work every day to stay here. But mostly remember that sometimes we will fall, and that's OKAY, but don't forget TO GET UP, as we all fall, falling is not the bad part, NOT GETTING UP is.......keep going everyone and NEVER GIVE UP, you worked too hard to0

- The people closest to you are increasingly more snide to you. Wait, what? 30 lbs ago you had no snarky comments, but now, all the sudden, you have something to say. Strangers turn out to be the nicer ones.
- When you realize that your shirt is so loose that you're showing off your cleavage a little more than what's appropriate.
- When your lingerie doesn't stay in place and you have to buy new sets. Awesome!
- When you can slide your shirt DOWN over your hips.
- When your feet are slipping around in your shoes.
- Noticed that I use less shower products, less skin to wash.
- Had to readjust all my car settings i.e. mirrors, seat, and steering wheel height.
- You have to take second glances when you walk past mirrors. Who's that pretty lady? Wait, me?!?!
- Takes less time to get dressed and prepped for things.

when my daughter lays her head down in my lap and complains because all the padding is gone and my ribs hurt her head now!0

You have to keep pulling your pants while trying to grocery shop.0
-
When the cute skirt that was too tight to squeeze into three months ago is now falling off your hips. Soon it will be time for some shopping!0
-
When you're running and you see your shadow and think it looks slim and trim.0
-
When I have to keep standing up because the chair is too hard.
When my bony ankles bruise me in my sleep0 -
. . . . . you're on a long car journey and you have to stop to rest your bottom . . . . . which now has sooooo much less padding!!!!0
-
Not too far into my journey, but my bra is no longer a weapon! I can wear it now without feeling like it is a medieval torture truss.0
-
When I'm no longer tugging on my shirt to hide my fat. I used to wear jackets when it was spring, just to hide, and now I walk out the door with just a shirt.0

Have lost 4 pant sizes. I can jump without hurting myself! I can walk for a long, long time without getting winded. And best of all, my daughters said "mom, you have an hourglass figure!"
Sounds like a blessing indeed. I recall the same -- I used to be winded just walking down the stairs, let alone going from one room to the other, but now, I can walk for hours and want more.0 -
when your friends ask you why you wear the same pants all the time (only ones that fit! donated the ones that were too large) and jeans are rather pricey0
-
It's not just getting smaller clothes (which is fabulous!)...before every top I ever owned HAD to be long enough to cover my hips and backside, now the clothes are smaller and show off my hips and backside on purpose!0
-
When my underwear started falling down lol. I was out shopping, and wearing a dress. I actually had to hold on to them over my clothes.0

when its okay to be seen without a shirt on0

I laughed when I read this as my jeans fell to my ankles in the veggie aisle a couple weeks ago. I wasn't ready for it and thankfully no one was around but I must have looked ridiculous.0 -
When you go to an amusement park with your little kids and think *can I take my child on, will I fit?!"* and being borderline too big for some rides!
.... I hope!!
Down 50 pounds, so this summer I am going to have no fear of not fitting on rides!0 -
The positive:
When you can feel your ribs for the first time in your life (feeling my spine for the first time is my next goal)
When you start pulling out your summer clothing after a long winter and realize most of it is too big this year
Being able to shop in non-plus size stores for the first time ever (and realizing how much cheaper the clothing is!)
You step on the scale and realize you now weigh less than you ever have since you were a child!
The negative:
Realizing your chest is slowly climbing it's way down to your stomach.
Falling out of your current jeans but not quite fitting into the next size down yet (so close!)

When you don't have to worry about booth size when you go to a restaurant. I can fit in all the booths now!0
-
When you find a jar of hot fudge in the refrigerator and it's 4 months past the "best by" date!0
-
When you finally fit into those adorable one-size-fits-most tights or leggings!0
-
When you don't have to do a series of lunges and squats to stretch out your jeans after they come out of the dryer0

My wedding does not fit anymore, it's so loose that it's been slipping off. When my underwear are so big that the fall down in my pants. When I have people at work calling me skinny. I have only lost 18lbs but I'm loving every bit of it.0
