Pretty sure it is.
Yep0 -
Elphie that is something worth taking into consideration. Well it's been 3 mos so far. I have another months worth of product left, I'm not opposed to trying products that are similar especially if they are cheaper! And I will definitely give an update!0

Phentermine is linked to heart failure but people still pop them like candy0

Cheaper and don't carry the risk of liver damage. Even if I still had 3 months left of product, I'd toss it.0

I don't take phentermine, my point was that too much of anything is bad. Especially if it's abused0 -

That's great that you'd consider safer products that are far less costly.... protein powders vary in how healthy they are, how much protein they contain, sugar etc. There are many to chose from... great bunch of ppl on here to get ideas from. @elphie754 brought up with a good idea to try.
As members above have shared... foremost it's calorie deficit and as you shared if you have a need for an on the go meal or extra protein... that's an add on.
Congrats on the weight dropped with your calorie deficit. That's fantastic!!0 -
Thank you0

Except liver damage was not from "too much" or "abuse" of the product, it was from the recommended amount.0 -

doesn't make it right or mean they have any sense in their head!
From what I've read, heard from former users of herbalife products on MFP liver failure doesn't necessarily take years with garbage products. Just like phentermine can effect someone's heart the first time they take it and not effect someone else's until down the road.
Is it worth the risk to lose a wee bit faster than everyone else? Nah, calorie deficit and that's steady and stays off. You stop a product and you can watch the weight go right back on. Those days are long over for me...0 -

Two previous people required liver transplants, one actually died.

Read the article after the second page I stopped because it also included other brands of diet products so basically what it boils down to is that no diet supplement is truly safe nor truly effective. It's a choice we all make to use or not no matter what brand.0

If you read carefully it only mentions hydroxycut as also causing liver damage, but a bulk of both articles was about Herbalife.
Hey, if you are willing to risk liver damage and potential death, it truly doesn't effect is. I however, would not.
