I keep forgetting that it's almost April already so the rain shouldn't be surprising, eh? Time's been flying by.

God, I really need to teach myself how to type... I think this is part of the reason I've always avoided social media ...

Having been at home and not working I've lost all sense of time. Chatting here till 6 in the morning hasn't helped. lol

That's my same problem. Sometimes I forget which day it is. So, so sad.

Have you ever fallen asleep, looked at the time on the clock, and not been able to tell if it was the morning or the afternoon? lol

Oh yeah, that's always fun, but luckily that hasn't happened to me in many years. You need to seriously get your life together.

No kidding... I'm thinking of getting a part-time job just to keep me on a schedule. lol

That's smart thinking, but you need to take it easy, enjoy life, and get better, yo. I'd get a part-time job already too but no one takes me seriously and thus won't hire me.

What do you mean? They think you won't take it because you're over educated?
Yeah, I've applied to retail jobs, which I've done while I was at school, to make at least some money while I hunt for a real job but they never call me. They probably figure I'll quit as soon as I get something else, which is true, but granted, those types of jobs have such high turnover rates anyway.

Have you thought about omitting some of your educational credentials from your resume when applying for such jobs?

Then I'm worried they'd wonder what I've been doing with my life for all these years haha. I could lie and say that I spent the last few years road tripping it taking mental pictures of all the major roadside attractions of the Prairies.

How do you think it's going to look for me if I try to go back to being a mechanic after a 2 year hiatus? Who's going to believe I took a 2 year vacay? lol

Isn't it more understandable when you're on medical leave, or something related, though?

Or they could think that I'm too big of a risk of getting sick again...

If they have half a brain they'd realize that you're good to go now that your battery has been fully recharged.

Hopefully I never have to find out...

Honestly. If they do, we can start our own This Hour Has 23 Minutes series.

So have you thought of leaving town?
Ha! That should always be an option for everyone, eh? Why restrict yourself?
No, I mean looking in other cities for work in your specific field.

Yeah exactly, a person should never restrict oneself to one location in that regard. The problem is the employment rate is so crappy, and layoffs are so common, even here, that even if one did land a good job elsewhere, it's kind of risky to spend so much money moving to another place due to lack of job stability.

G'day to you, Ms. Jo. So tired, how about you?

Is everything OK with the business you had to take care of earlier?

That's an annoying sleeping pattern you have going on there.

Speaking of that, I ought to shower and head to bed. Goodnight! :star:
