    My weekend went by so fast...between doing my work thing on Saturday and wrangling kids for the second half and all of today, I can't believe I already have to go back to the office in like 10 hours.

    Actually..Ive read many theories on why an englishman is called a pom here..
    Obviously its aussie slang and the two you put forward Vik are the most common..there's also another that says because of their pale skins over here they burn so easily making them like pomegranates..and that pom may have derived from that....
    Its also said its disparaging..but its not we don't use it as an insult ..its the same as calling ourselves aussie..
    I for one think its Pom ..prisoner of her majesty..but we've dropped the H..because its spelt POM...

    First was ok..with my regular ginger ale mix..
    But ran out so using a subsitute..ewww its yuck..

    Its an aldi brand ginger beer ..its like flat sweet water..hardly any ginger....I love the schweppes ginger ale because of the gas..

    I absolutely love the low cal schweppes dry ginger ale ..in the 300ml bottles ....I take a sip out of bottle..then fill with a bit of cc..yummmmm

    The little bottle is great..put the bit of cc in close lid..gently turn upside down..then drink..still has plenty of gas in it..

    You can buy the 1.25l of same stuff in plastic bottle..just doesnt have as much fizz ..I prefer to pay more and have what I like

    It actually turned out pretty good

    After I was talked to last night by D I'll be hard-pressed to do another holiday . Not that I have anything better than to sit in kitchen and make food

    As far as today goes not really sure til D wakes up

    I'm still yet to see how many calories is in it

    Still not really sure how the mixings go to make it taste like Mayo but Dr Oz has a simple recipe called "Greek Yogurt Mayo" on his website that I'm going to make next time.
