I've been staring at this trying to figure out if she's pregnant. Otherwise, how would you not notice your cat is too fat to fit through the door? Definitely time to control the calories a bit.

Cats are like us apparently, some of them can stop when full, others keep eating, lol. I grew up with 4 different cats, two of them were fat, two were fine. Same lifestyle, obviously. I guess it's tougher when you have more than one cat though to make sure that they both eat their share (my parents just left kibble out all day).

I've had cats for years and there have been very few of them who were just gluttonous. Most of the time it seemed like the ones who got fat had experienced some kind of food deprivation in the past. After a couple years when they finally realized there's food down all the time and they can always get food, their eating became more normal and the weight dropped off.
