Easy to make for one person healthy dessert options

Do any of you have healthy dessert options? What do you eat when craving something sweet or rich? Do you allow yourself to eat a strawberry shortcake ice cream bar or do you forgo that due to sugar and later cravings?

I'm not much for ice cream except I do like the strawberry shortcake bars...just not sure if they're the healthiest. I love mug cakes...I've only tried the Trim Healthy Mama ones. Do you have a good recipe?0

Enlightened ice cream bars or sugar free Jell-O powder mixed with cottage cheese (let it sit in the fridge for a while to fully dissolve and thicken).0

the easiest recipe for mug cake is mix a box of angel food cake and a box of any flavor cake mix (chocolate) then take 3 tablespoons of the mix with 1 tablespoon of water. microwave for around a minute or 2 depends on your microwave. I keep the mix in a container and can have a snack when ever I want.-1

Choc/peanut butter protein powder or PB2 mixed into a bowl of yogurt and cottage cheese, you can also add chia seeds.0

I forgot all about this recipe. I made this years ago but don't remember using angel food cake with it. Do you know how many calories this would be?

I have made the Greek yogurt with pb2 but not with cottage cheese too. Do you mix both yogurt with cottage cheese or are you saying either or? Chia seeds sound like great idea and also the protein powder with yogurt. I haven't tried that. Thanks!0

Sometimes I mix the cottage in with the yogurt, but mostly I make the pudding with just the yogurt, powder and chia seeds, refrigerate for a couple of hours so it thickens up, then I top it with around 100g of cottage cheese, like you'd do with whipped cream.

Sounds interesting. I've never done that but bet lemon jello would be yummy with the cottage cheese! I've never tried the enlightened bars.

It is so delicious. It's pretty much the only dessert I eat these days, and it only takes like 2 minutes to make .
Oh, I forgot. I also add 50g raspberries on top too0 -

Ohhh I bet that is delish!! How much of the chia seeds do you use and the yogurt? Any sweetner that you recommend? Sorry for all the questions!

I like volume, so I use
300g yogurt
40g Protein powder
which equals 361 calories, plus an extra 105 cals if you add cottage cheese.
I use Optimum Nutrition choc/peanut butter casein which is sweet enough, so I don't need any extra sugar. I usually only add 10g of chia seeds, those along with the casein make it thick like chocolate icing.0 -

I will try this. Really sounds delicious! I've never tried the Optimum. I use Jay Robb's protein powder right now.

I find strawberries (and other fruit) with whipped cream really tasty and satisfying. With a cup of sliced strawberries and a few tablespoons of whipped cream, it comes to about 75 calories. I will also reduce the strawberries and put the whole mixture on one of those 80 calorie dessert shells for about 135 calories.
Another option is to take a banana and split it open (like a hotdog bun), add in some marshmallows and/or dark chocolate, wrap it in foil and stick it in the oven/grill and scoop it out with a spoon (or grahm crackers if they fit your calorie goals).0 -

There's this banana bread in a mug recipe that I use every couple of days. It's tastes more like cake but it's easy to make and doesn't take too much time.

We keep bags of Lindt chocolates in our pantry at all times. One is just under 70 calories and it's enough of a treat that it satisfies any immediate sweet tooth cravings I might have. I allow myself 3 a day, at any time (meaning, I can eat all three at once, or 1 each throughout the day).0

Mix some fruit and cinnamon. Put it in a greased ramekin. Don't overfill it, or you'll have a mess. Put the ramekin on a plate, just in case. Microwave for 45 seconds, stir, microwave 15 seconds at a time and keep stirring, until it's hot and bubbly. Let it cool down some before you eat it. It's like pie filling without all the added fats and sugars.
Fruits that work well for this: apple slices or chunks, fresh or frozen peaches, frozen berries, frozen cherries.0 -
For healthy sweet and rich I go with a fruit and yogurt parfait with some slivered almonds or a little granola on top.0
