Hi! I am attending a ladies function this next week and we are suppose to bring a dip, and something dippable to share. It can be savory or sweet. They all know I am on a diet so I want to show them that I still eat food that tastes great. Any suggestions for either?

Buff Chick Hot Wing Dip
PER SERVING (1/15th of recipe, about 1/4 cup): 68 calories, 1.5g fat, 616mg sodium, 2g carbs, 0g fiber, 1g sugars, 10g protein -- PointsPlus® value 2*
After receiving tons of emails about a famous (and fatty) Frank's RedHot dip, we HG-ized it for your (and our!) chewing pleasure. This stuff tastes JUST like Buffalo wings...
Ingredients:
Two 9.75-oz. (or 10-oz.) cans 98% fat-free chunk white chicken breast in water, drained
One 8-oz. tub fat-free cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup Frank's RedHot Original Cayenne Pepper Sauce
1/2 cup shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese
1/4 cup fat-free ranch dressing
1/4 cup fat-free Greek yogurt (Fage 0% is the best!)
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Place cream cheese in a medium bowl and stir until smooth. Mix in Frank's RedHot, mozzarella cheese, ranch dressing, and yogurt. Stir in chicken until thoroughly combined. Spoon mixture evenly into a deep 8-inch by 8-inch baking dish.
Bake in the oven for 20 minutes, or until mixture is heated through. Stir well and enjoy!
P.S. We love dipping carrot sticks and red bell pepper chunks into this dip, but we've also dunked baked tortilla chips into it and used it as a sandwich spread!
MAKES 15 SERVINGS
HG Alternative! To make this dish FAST, skip the oven altogether. Prepare dip according to the directions, but in a microwave-safe dish. Then microwave uncovered on high for 5 minutes (stopping and stirring halfway through cooking), or until hot.0 -
I love jalepeno cilantro hummus with carrots, bell peppers, cucumbers, and jicama for dipping. You could bring pita chips as well.0

I just made the best low calorie ranch dip for Father's Day. I used a 24oz tub of Non-Fat Cottage Cheese, 2 packets of Hidden Valley Ranch mix, 2 jalapenos and a big handful of cilantro. Blend the cottage cheese until smooth (tastes like thick sour cream, yummy), Put the cilantro and jalapeno in a food processor until it's chopped fine and then mix all ingrediants together.
Add salt and pepper to your liking.
It's great with a bunch of veggies and it's only about 60-70 calories for 1/2 cup.
Hope you like it. )0 -
Use Special K Cracker Chips for the dippers. Great with salsa.
Either plain or sour cream & onion flavor.0 -
Sour cream with chipotle powder and some low fat or fat free cheddar cheese. Mix it up and serve it with bake tortilla chips or veggies. It tastes so darn good.....yummy0

Do you make this hummus or buy it? Sounds deish!!!0 -
One of my favorite dips is salsa. I have had lots of different people's home made salsa and various different store brands. Watch the sodium! Good with veggies for dipping (celery and broccoli my favs) , crackers, tortillas, on potatoes etc.. I even spread some on chicken breasts when I cook them in the oven.0

Home made hommous - just chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice, olive oil. Very good for you and much yummier than ready made hommous.
And take some veggies plus some baked tortilla chips - spray tortillas with spray oil, sprinkly with cayenne pepper . cut into triangles and bake for a few mins till they're crispy.
Or you could make a delicious fruit platter - sliced up fruit with a dipping sauce made from your favourite fat free vanilla yoghurt with some finely grated dark chocolate and a pinch of cinnamon0 -
Thanks for the wonderful suggestions and websites. Gonna go with Buffalo dip!!0
