How do you eat your cottage cheese?

I'm wanting to get more protein into my diet and a lot of people keep recommending cottage cheese. I've personally never had it. A lot keep saying it tastes good with peaches and other fruits. Does anyone eat it in a savory way? Maybe some crackers?

I like it on toast0

I eat it by itself, or with strawberries or bananas1

Usually I only eat it now in a salad if I'm at a place where I can pick and choose what goes on it.0
-
I love it with peaches or tomatoes (and salt!)1

With a spoon. And with black pepper or plain. Or in a lasagna.0

I guess i'll have to give the fruit idea a go first! I do enjoy peaches0 -
I like Krazy Salt or Tony C's shot over it to give it a savory flair. Salsa is also a good flavoring for it.1

Love mine with fruit, especially pineapple. Have heard others rave about it with tuna, haven't tried that yet.0

I found this recipe recently - 1 Tablespoon flaxseeds, 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon and 1/2 cup of cottage cheese. I'm not a big cottage cheese fan but I like this. I ate 4 servings this week.0

On toast or with sliced tomato!0

With a spoon. And with black pepper or plain. Or in a lasagna.
Glad I am not the only one. Growing up we always used mixed cottage cheese/mozzarella as filler in lasagna (vs ricotta). I think it is so much better. And ricotta mixed with shredded mozzarella and fairly heavily peppered is the only way I like to eat it.0 -
I like my plain.0

In the bin1

I like it with nacho cheese Doritos but it probably isn't too healthy that way0

I love it. As the cheese in a cheeseburger with fried onions is my fave. Also have it with a salad, on top of a jacket potato, or straight from the tub.1

Plain or with fruit (strawberries, pear). I'm quite sure I'd enjoy it with about anything though!0

Prefer it with green olives. Sometimes with tomatoes.

I like to mix it with pineapple chunks! OMG! YUMMY!1

Having it 'savory' is so yum!
I like to mix tuna (even the canned varieties taste good in this!), cottage cheese (I use dry curd cottage cheese - much lower in sodium and higher in protein than regular cottage cheese), and put avocado. red onion/spices maybe salsa on a large romaine lettuce leaf with some aged balsamic vinegar.

As a smoothie. Cottage cheese, almond milk, blackberries or raspberries, fresh ginger, raw honey, flax & chia seeds.0

with a spoon. its too messy to eat with my fingers.3

I love it with Greek yogurt and almond butter! Delish!0

I just found one at Whole Foods with Kalamata Olives and probiotics (called Good Culture) - I LOVE kalamata's in there, there is garlic too. I often add salsa, smoked salmon, capers, and sri racha!1

My favorite way ever is to eat it with sliced black olives and some type of tortilla or baked chip.0

1. Plain with Salt & Pepper
2. (summer only) Garden-fresh tomato slices topped with cottage cheese, salt&pepper
3. With sliced pineapple or peaches1
