Ok, so don't hate me guys lol! That insurance licensing class had me completely tied up this whole week and I barely had time to do anything else. I am never one to neglect the form...but I will be back and in full effect now! How did we all do with the water?! Gulping it down? I am seeing some pretty impressive numbers out there! Awesome job and keep it up, 2 more days to hit your target Water Fiends! LOL0

Hello Sweeties!!!
I almost hate to put this out there in fear that I'll jinx myself.....but I'm actually excited for weigh in! After MONTHS of going back to bad eating habits and no excerise and gaining weight. I feel so good this week and I'm proud of myself for getting back on track.

So this week I met all of my goals. I hit 4 spin classes this week. I think I will do circuit training on Monday. I think I am taking Sunday off, but maybe not. HIt spin class 4 times this wee. Wed-Sat. Burned no less than 500 calories each workout and upwards of 1194 calories. Finishing up on the water intake and supplements. Maybe looking into working with a personal trainer after vacation. Scale still has not moved, but guess what, no button imprints on my tummy from my jeans. Everything is loose now! Yippie.

Don't let the scale make you crazy.
Many people use the scale to determine how they should feel about themselves on a given day. If it is frozen or moving up, they get a strong urge to throw in the towel and eat, eat, eat. But paying such close attention to the scale and making self-judgments based on its movements is not motivating.
Yes, you need to check your weight consistently, but you do not have to check it daily. And you can work on the self talk you use when you do weigh yourself. If the scale makes you crazy, then you know what you need to work on. You can work on changing how you think about the scale and how you treat yourself as a result of weighing.
Action for the day: In your journal, write about your feelings when you weigh yourself. Are you at peace with weighing? Take some time to sort out what you can do to bring some sanity into your relationship with your scale.0 -
I know that this said the "group" was closed but I would love to join you.. I have done myfitnesspal since january and have lost 38 pounds so far.. I would like to lose 70 more but have recently found myself at a halt. I have never connected with anyone on mfp and hope that this might help My interest was peeked when I saw the name of the group.. My husband and I are taking our kids to Disney World in October and would love to have 30 to 40 more pounds gone by then.. Anyway just wanted to see if I could join this group for some support! to stop at a gas station it was crazy but i did it..)

Wed: 120 ozs (15 cups) the bathroom is now a close friend i can't go too far
Thurs: 96 ozs (12 cups) fail to reach my goal

Sat: 100 ozs + 32 oz unsweeten lemonade ( did a lot of driving today very hot days so i have my 100oz water bottle guess i went to every rest stop i passed)

I have to share this with the group!! I was moaning and groaning about doing the measurements and I was pleasantly surprised today!! In 2 weeks I have lost 9.5 inches!! I had to re-check my waist 3 times and it was correct. I lost 3 inches off my waist and 2 off my hips in 2 weeks time. I felt great. :bigsmile:
And I am thinking this measuring stuff is not too bad at all!! Thanks Krys and Whitrusty!!!
This did not include my arms because I have too much excess skin on arms to really measure them accurately. It was too hard to measure my arms. I would have to have someone measure them for me. I may have my Mom measure my arms for me next week. My trainer use to measure my arms. Maybe that is what I will do. I will ask one of the ladies at the gym to measure my arms for me. I did make sure I did my weight training more these last 2 weeks, so I am feeling good about that for sure! Can't wait to measure myself again!! I know I may not have this many inches lost but it helps to keep me doing my weight training!

i have been the Aqua Fiend!! Yeah baby!! 5lbs down this week!!! So proud of myself. I overcame a funeral, ladies night out, bridal shower, and night out at the movies with the kids! AhMazing! Knowing I was weighing in for the challenge really helped keep my mind where it should be, so thanks, ladies!! Great week everyone!0

I did really well with the water challenge. I drank 112 oz of water each day from Monday to Sunday. That is 14 cups per day, for a total of 98 cups, or 784 oz.
